I had the most delicious dinner at The Moat House. The warm fois gras and black pudding starter was a taste sensation, and the perfectly cooked venison as the main course was absolutely incredible. The food here is definitely close to Michelin star quality.

We stayed at The Moat House for one night to meet up with a friend and we wish we could have stayed longer. The staff were cheerful and polite from the moment we arrived. The room was clean, spacious, and had a comfortable bed. The garden and ponds were well presented, providing a relaxing atmosphere. The restaurant service was excellent and the a la carte food was superb. The bar area was cozy and the bar staff were attentive.
