I had a wonderful stay at Moggerhanger Park. The Grade 1 listed building was full of history and character, giving me a unique experience. The room I stayed in was large and comfortable, with a bed that provided an extremely restful night's sleep. The breakfast offered a delicious cooked English meal, and the views of the countryside were simply breathtaking. The internet reception was also excellent, allowing me to stay connected throughout my stay.

It would have been helpful to have more staff overseeing breakfast, as the hotel was busy. Additionally, our room did not have chairs, and the ground floor sitting rooms were locked early in the morning.

During my stay at this unique country hotel, I enjoyed the peaceful and picturesque grounds, complete with sheep and lambs. The spacious hall, although in need of some maintenance, added to the charm of the place. My room, 503, had interesting architectural domes that, although taking up space, didn't hinder my overall comfort. The beds were cozy, the shower cubicle was small but clean, and the fluffy towels were a nice touch. The breakfast buffet offered a good variety and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Spent my Christmas at a stunning historical English mansion with my family. the ambiance, cozy interior design and wooden antique furnishings were perfect for some holiday cheer. the exquisite natural surroundings made our experience even more memorable. We took advantage of a great outdoor playground for the little ones and the vast grounds for walks and hikes. We also enjoyed a delicious hot meal in the on-site café and learned about the building's rich history from the cordial staff. All in all, a perfect festive getaway.

Although our stay was a lovely one, there were a few things that could have been improved upon. the heating in the room was not up to standard, and we found ourselves feeling cold at night.

The cafe in the grounds offers delicious cakes, and the restaurant, although with a limited menu, provides decent quality food. If you fancy going out, there is a pub in the village nearby. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff is welcoming and accommodating. The breakfast is tasty, and there are white large towels provided.

As women traveling alone, we loved the family-friendly setup, peaceful atmosphere, and friendly staff. The hotel's location within a park was ideal, with vast grounds and a playground for kids. The clean rooms offered great views, and there was a lovely library to relax in. The on-site cafe served delicious lunch meals, especially the jacket potato. The hotel's historical significance as the home of an abolitionist added to its charm.
