While staying at Monachyle Mhor, we were pleasantly surprised by the stunning setting and the beautiful, tastefully decorated rooms. The beds were incredibly comfortable, allowing us to have a peaceful night's sleep. The bathroom was spacious and we particularly loved the steam and rainfall shower. The toiletries provided were luxurious and we appreciated the selection of tea and coffee in our room.

Despite the minor inconvenience of limited WiFi and cell reception, it actually encouraged us to disconnect and fully enjoy the breathtaking Scottish landscapes surrounding the hotel.

Our stay at Monachyle Mhor was worth every penny. The room was spacious, stylish, and had twin baths, which made it even more special. The location was absolutely stunning, offering beautiful walks in every direction. The staff were friendly, informative, and made us feel incredibly welcome throughout our stay.

The only small improvement I would suggest for the breakfast menu is to offer a greater variety of options.

The room in the courtyard was exceptional, with a well-designed layout and even a steam room. The location of the hotel was simply breathtaking, perfect for scenic walks and photography. The staff treated us with great warmth and attentiveness throughout our stay, making us feel truly pampered.

The staff, owners, and house dogs were amazing. Fires were cozy. Food was excellent. Lounge and bar had a great feel. Surroundings were fantastic with great walks. Hidden treasure with beautiful rooms and awesome scenery.

Spectacular room, with only minor disturbance from noise above. Location is remote but worth it. On-site restaurant offers exquisite food. A beautiful setting and a perfect place to relax.

Spacious and comfy room, great staff, and amazing food. The location is isolated but beautiful, right by a lake. The restaurant uses locally sourced ingredients, some from their own farm and garden. The menu changes daily, so it's always an adventure. The wine selection is exceptional. The room was expensive, especially considering it wasn't much different from other places we stayed at. Water issue made all running water look brown, although it was deemed safe to drink. No warning about the fixed price menu, which cost a whopping £85 per person, making it a surprise expense. Would only return for a special occasion due to the cost.

I recently stayed at Monachyle Mhor for a weekend getaway. The secluded location added to the charm of the hotel, with a unique mix of buildings. Our room was quiet, well-appointed, and simply lovely. The standout feature, however, was the exceptional manager of the restaurant. Her professionalism was truly impressive. This special place offers beautiful surroundings, cool and luxurious rooms, exquisite food, and outstanding staff. Though on the pricey side, every penny is well worth it.

The service was very disappointing. We encountered multiple issues, such as being given incorrect information about vegetarian options and being moved from our chosen table after already settling in.

As a solo traveler, I loved the stunning remote location and beautiful scenery surrounding the hotel. The tastefully furnished rooms and friendly service made me feel right at home. The top-class food and wine in the dining room, with its amazing views, were a true delight. Enjoying afternoon tea or a pre-dinner drink on the terrace was an experience to remember.

We had an amazing romantic getaway in a remote location with breathtaking views and no phone reception. The food was absolutely delicious, with a 10-course tasting menu and perfectly matched wines. The highlight was the puréed potato with wild garlic, an absolute taste sensation. The breakfast was also a delight, a three-course affair. The hotel had a cozy and quirky feel, with well-stocked log fires adding to the ambiance. We also enjoyed the warm and unobtrusive service from the staff.

The access road to the hotel was a bit sketchy, especially during the winter storms. We were worried about the condition of the road during the blizzard and had to decline the hotel's offer of a complimentary overnight stay due to concerns about getting back home.
