The room was quite spacious and had a comfortable bed. The location of the hotel was also great, being close to the train station and bus terminal. It was convenient for getting around and exploring the town. the host was very friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home during our stay.

There were a couple of negatives during our stay. The shared shower only had two temperatures - hot and too hot, which made it difficult to have a comfortable shower.

Cannot find any fault.

During our New Year stay, we found the B&B to be very clean and comfortable. The en-suite was lovely and clean too, and we enjoyed the convenience of its location near the train station. The regular trains to the city centre were a definite plus.

It was unfortunate to discover no breakfast facilities on our arrival, which was only communicated upon arrival despite our initial enquiry. our room was somewhat small, and there wasn't a comfortable chair or area to sit in our room.

The property itself was perfectly situated opposite the train station, making it convenient for our travels. The room was clean and quiet, with fresh sheets and extra coffee and tea facilities. The shared bathroom facilities were easily accessible and well-maintained. The breakfast in the morning was plentiful and the staff were incredibly helpful. We were so impressed with the friendly service and would definitely stay here again. Being nice really does make a difference!

The room was spacious and clean, and even though we had to share a bathroom, it was surprisingly clean and fresh. I have dietary restrictions, being lacto-free and gluten-free, and the owners were more than happy to accommodate my needs. They even provided helpful tips for exploring the area. We would definitely choose to stay here again.

I had a great stay at this guesthouse in Galashiels. The location was ideal, being close to the town center, bus station, and train station. Tesco and Asda were also conveniently nearby. The host and staff were welcoming and provided excellent recommendations for food and drink. The breakfast was fantastic and set me up for the day. The rooms were tidy and clean, and I felt well taken care of during my stay. I would gladly return to the Monorene Guest House.

This hotel is very central, with the bus and rail interchange almost next door. It couldn't be more convenient for travellers like me. The rooms had a fresh feel about them and were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was well cooked and very generous.

The shower head was positioned too high for me to reach, and it would be nice to have some shelves in the bathroom to put toiletries on.
