Recently stayed at The Sun Inn for a night while hiking Hadrian's Wall. Warmly welcomed by a lovely lady, clean room with extra beverages like snacks, juice, and breakfast cereal. Though breakfast wasn't available, the proprietor generously allowed us to use the lounge and provided cutlery and crockery for our takeaway. The friendly host even provided detailed instructions on catching the bus and the best hiking route along Hadrian's Wall. The newly decorated room was spacious and clean, and the country pub's garden was a pleasant addition. Good food and excellent value in a quiet village setting.

I had a wonderful stay at this cozy non-chain hotel. The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The room I stayed in was newly decorated, clean, and pleasantly decorated. The bathroom was the biggest I've had since leaving my own home, and it was kept immaculately clean. The location of the hotel was perfect for day trips, situated in a beautiful part of Northumberland. Despite being above a pub, the hotel was incredibly quiet, allowing for a peaceful night's sleep.

The decor in the rooms could use some refreshing, especially the carpets. the noise from the bar below could be bothersome at night, particularly if you're a light sleeper.

The availability of an extra key was a convenient touch, making it easy to come and go as needed. Parking along the street was also not a problem, making it convenient for guests who drive to the location.
