The location is pretty sweet, and the staff are choice. But the outdated decor and musty room smell really brought it down for me. Chur for the views, though!

Had a comfy room with a lovely view, and the place was tidy enough. Facilities were decent too, which made our stay enjoyable. Oh, and it’s pet-friendly, so our furry friend felt right at home!

But seriously, the decor looked like it hadn’t heard of a makeover since the 90s! And I swear, the walls had ears—could hear every sneeze from next door!

Ideal for pet lovers too!

the hotel is pet-friendly with treats and dog walking routes provided. the room was old and uncomfortable, not worth the high rate.

Great location with tasty bites!

We stayed for a night and loved the spot by Neptune's Staircase. The breakfasts were super yummy, especially the fresh pastries! But we had to wait a bit too long for our drinks at the bar, which was kinda frustrating. Overall, comfy beds and just a nice vibe.

the moorings hotel is seriously a great spot! loved the comfy rooms that were super clean, and they even had complimentary water every day. the food in the restaurant was amazin, breakfast was fab, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. the view of neptune’s staircase is just awesome, perfect for chillin outside and watchin the boats go by. totally would come back again!

but the service was super slow during dinner, and i had some trouble with the noise from the boats at night if ur a light sleeper.

staying at moorings was a treat! the location is right next to neptune's ladder, perfect for evening strolls. our dog felt so welcomed with a bowl and bed in the room. breakfast was great, with special seating for dog owners in the bar area.

I had a fantastic weekend getaway with lovely unexpected extras like hot chocolate and shortbread waiting in the room. however, the noise from the bar was a bit annoying.

I enjoyed my time here, especially the food. The team made my stay enjoyable, with Carol Ann and her colleagues showing a caring attitude. The location by the canal was ideal for walks, and I appreciated that I could unwind after exploring the area. It was the perfect ending to my days. I stayed for six nights, and the room was spacious and clean, providing everything I needed. Being a history enthusiast makes such trips even more rewarding.
