had a fantastic walking tour in derby and stayed at this lovely hotel. staff were friendly, room was comfortable with great views. breakfast and restaurant food were delicious. can't wait to come back and play golf next time!

We had an amazing stay at Morley Hayes. the view from our room was breathtaking, and the big bed was incredibly comfortable. the room itself was lovely, beautifully decorated for Christmas. the hotel's entrance was stunning at night with the Christmas lights on. We were spoiled for choice when it came to dining options, both the restaurant and informal dining offered high standards and excellent food. the breakfast choices were wonderful, and the service was top-notch. We also enjoyed the adjoining golf driving range, which was of a high standard.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a 4-star hotel that exceeded all my expectations. This place was simply perfect. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, attentive, and efficient. The location of this hotel was excellent, offering beautiful views in certain areas. The room I stayed in was well equipped and very comfortable, with a special mention to the incredibly comfortable bed. The room was also very clean, and the housekeeping staff kept everything neat and tidy. The on-site amenities were impressive, with services like room service, dry cleaning, and laundry available. The staff were also kind enough to collect some items we had forgotten and put them in our gift bags.

The only downside I can think of is that some of the staff members can come across as dour and close to being rude. However, this did not take away from the overall excellent stay I had at this hotel.

The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating, and I was pleasantly surprised when my room was upgraded to the Fitzherbert suite upon arrival. The suite was spacious, clean, and had a huge comfortable bed. The large bathroom with a shower and TV in the separate bath was a nice touch. The Dovecote restaurant served delicious dinner, and the Derbyshire Breakfast the next morning was tasty and well-cooked. The hotel's proximity to the golf course was also a plus, as I was able to enjoy a quick 9 holes before dinner. I highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
