I've stayed at this gem of a hotel quite a few times before, and it never disappoints. The owners Dave and Sally are incredibly friendly and professional, making me feel right at home. The facilities are even better than expected for a budget hotel, with comfortable beds, a TV, and a convenient drinks station in the room. The breakfast is consistently of high quality, made with fresh ingredients. The hotel's location, in a quiet area opposite a lovely park, is a definite plus. Can't wait to visit again soon!

We arrived late, but the friendly and understanding receptionist let us in and ensured we got our room. The clean and comfortable room had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The breakfast was delicious and offered great value for money. I highly recommend this hotel.

We had a fantastic week staying at this budget hotel. The location couldn't have been better; it was opposite a beautiful park, which made our morning strolls very enjoyable. The hotel was also conveniently situated near the marina and the vibrant Barbican area. The room itself was clean and well-maintained, with a comfortable bed and plenty of storage space. The service provided by the owners was outstanding, they were friendly, accommodating, and always willing to help. The breakfast was delicious, prepared with high-quality ingredients. One of the highlights was the view from our room, overlooking the park. It was such a peaceful and serene atmosphere.

The occasional noise from people walking in the room above, but that's to be expected in an older building.

I had a fantastic experience at a hotel on a quiet street in the west of the city centre. the hosts at Mountbatten were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. the rooms were beautifully designed with all the amenities I needed, including a desk, TV, and a hot drinks station. the private bathroom was also fantastic. the beds were surprisingly comfortable, and I had a great night's sleep. I was impressed with the level of service from the hosts, as they were always available to assist with any requests. They even allowed me to leave my luggage in a secure room after check-out so that I could explore Plymouth. I highly recommend staying at this hotel and look forward to returning in the future.

My Christmas stay at this hotel was fantastic! the hospitality of the staff was second to none. They made us feel right at home from the very moment we walked through the door. the location was great as it was just a stone's throw away from a stunning park that we enjoyed walking around every day. the town centre was within easy reach which made getting around a breeze.

Our room was on the top floor which meant carrying our heavy luggage up the stairs was a bit of a pain. Despite this, once we reached our room, it was hard to fault.

This hotel offers great value for money. The room rates are very reasonable, especially considering the comfortable beds and the nice view of the park. The staff are extremely friendly and make you feel very welcome. The breakfast is also very enjoyable, with good coffee and a variety of options to choose from.

The hosts were friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome. The location near the Devonport/Torpoint Ferry crossing was convenient, and the peaceful atmosphere was perfect for a relaxing stay.
