The newly decorated apartment was clean and fresh, with a comfortable bed and top-quality linen. The lounge and dining area were spacious, and there was underfloor heating in the bath/shower room. The welcoming hamper was a nice touch. The coffee shop had good facilities, and there was a supermarket nearby.

staying at lews castle was a dream come true, the views were breathtaking and the castle itself was stunning. being able to explore the castle grounds and enjoy the self catering facilities made our stay even more memorable, especially during the rainy days. the welcome pack with local produce was a lovely touch.

The reception was very welcoming and provided us with interesting information about the history of the place. the rooms were modern and clean, with comfortable beds and a large TV with Netflix. We also appreciated the beautiful view of the harbor and the convenience of being just a short walk away from the city center.

While the self-catering option was great, it would have been helpful to have dressers in the larger suite and a bigger mirror in the bathroom. It seemed like the cleaning policy was inconsistent, as our friends had their rooms cleaned but ours was not.

The location of the hotel is superb, being in a beautiful restored castle surrounded by a park. It is also conveniently close to the town center, offering great value for money. The rooms are lovely and the building itself is stunning.

We absolutely loved our stay at Lews Castle! The luxury accommodation exceeded our expectations in every way. The spacious rooms, beautifully equipped bathrooms, and even a freestanding bath made our stay feel truly indulgent. The facilities were top-notch, and the on-site cafe served excellent food. It was a truly exciting experience to stay in a castle, and we enjoyed exploring the attached museum. One evening, we had a great time chatting with Jim at the bar. The setting and location of the castle were perfect, and we particularly enjoyed the stunning views and wonderful grounds. Despite the weather not being ideal during our visit, we still had a fantastic time and would love to return.

I recently stayed at this incredible castle that holds sentimental value for me from my school days. The room I stayed in had a special connection, being my former science class, and it was nicely furnished with a great location. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay, making it a truly pleasant experience.
