I recently stayed at a wonderful place right on the river, and it was simply amazing. The waterhouses at New Lanark provided breathtaking river views, and the continuous sounds of the river created a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere. The location was perfect for a family getaway, and the spacious apartment was ideal for our needs. The hotel's leisure facilities, particularly the pool, were a great addition to our stay. The restaurant served excellent food, and the staff went above and beyond to cater to my daughter's food allergies. The walk to the Falls of Clyde was absolutely stunning, and we also enjoyed exploring the Heritage Centre. Waking up to the sound of the river was a delightful experience. the ambience of the place, the helpful staff, and the enjoyable activities made our stay truly memorable.

We absolutely loved our stay at New Lanark Waterhouses! The location within a UNESCO World Heritage Site was incredible and added a unique touch to our trip. The room was spotless and had luxurious amenities like heated towel racks. We thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful natural surroundings, especially the soothing sound of the rushing river. The dinner at the hotel's restaurant was outstanding, presenting us with a fantastic culinary experience.

I had a fantastic stay in a self-catering waterhouse right on the river! The cleanliness and comfort of the cottage were top-notch. The kitchen had all the necessary appliances, allowing me to cook meals after work. The peacefulness of the location was a major highlight, and I loved waking up to the view of the flowing river and the variety of birds and wildflowers. Additionally, the village had great walks right on its doorstep and convenient shops nearby.

As bike riders, we absolutely loved the location of New Lanark Self Catering Waterhouses. The proximity to the river and the peaceful atmosphere made it a great place to relax after a long day of biking. The spacious and comfortable accommodation had everything we needed, and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The use of the hotel facilities, including the mill cafe and shop, was a bonus, and we enjoyed exploring the surrounding area with plenty of walks available.

I recently stayed at a lovely self-catering cottage in New Lanark. The location was perfect, right by the river, and the cottage itself was spacious and exactly as described. We enjoyed having dinner at the hotel restaurant, which had great food and service. The area offered delightful walks and overall, it was a wonderful experience. The location of this water cottage is fantastic. We had breathtaking views of the river and surrounding wood from every window. Being right on the river was a major highlight. The hotel facilities were great. We had complimentary access to the swimming pool and were able to use the bar and restaurant. Everything we needed for a self catering break was available in this cottage. The cleanliness of the apartment was top-notch. We had everything we required for our stay and the place was spotless. The transportation options were convenient. The hotel provided free parking at the park&ride at Ingliston, which made it easy for us to explore this city as well as Edinburgh and Glasgow.

The historical complex was absolutely stunning, with beautiful old stone buildings and a natural view of the Clyde River from the kitchen and bedroom. the self-catering water houses had everything we needed, including lovely sea kelp soaps and lotions. We also enjoyed the discount provided for the industrial attraction, which included a guided tour of the mill and employee accommodations from the 1800s. the walking trails around the complex, especially the Cara Linn Falls and wildflower trail, were absolutely breathtaking. Plus, the meals at the main restaurant were delicious and the gift shop had a great selection of unique Scottish items.

The lack of internet in the self-catering rows was a bit troublesome as it made planning the next day's adventures more difficult. it was a bit disappointing to find out that there was a charge for using the leisure facilities, especially considering that hotel guests got them for free.

We had a wonderful weekend getaway at the Waterhouses. the staff were excellent, attending to a minor shower problem immediately. the location by the river was breathtaking, providing a relaxing view and soothing sounds. the accommodation was comfortable, well-appointed, and dog-friendly. Plus, we enjoyed the added bonus of free use of the pool and gym facilities. great value for money.

The accommodation was nice and warm on arrival, with excellent kitchen facilities and a comfortable bedroom. The receptionist was very pleasant and helpful. The location was extremely peaceful, with a beautiful view of the flowing river and a variety of birds and wildflowers. The village was great with good walks on the doorstep and shops close by. The fact that dogs were welcomed was a plus.
