I wanted somewhere quiet but within easy travelling distance of nearby attractions and family. This place was perfect as it was quiet and peaceful, yet only a short drive away from nearby Thirsk and other nice places to eat. The staff here were amazing, always suggesting great places to eat and making me feel welcome. They even tried to make the swimming pool warmer for me later when the weather improved. The room was beautiful, with a dressing room and bathroom with a jet bath. I had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

We had an easy and welcoming stay with friendly staff and a lovable dog. The hot tub and breakfast were amazing. The hotel facilities, including the hot tub, swimming pool, and garden area, were easily accessible. The location was excellent, with easy access to Thirsk and the A1 M.

the stay at newsham grange farm was wonderful! the room was spacious and luxurious, complete with a jacuzzi bath. the hosts were friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home. we also enjoyed the delicious breakfast and the convenient location near harrogate and thirsk.

We had a fantastic stay at a charming B&B near various tourist attractions. The location was convenient, as it was close to motorway links in any direction. The room was beautifully finished with a comfortable bed and a tastefully done en suite bathroom with a fantastic shower unit. The service provided by the hosts was impeccable, they were welcoming, helpful, and attentive. Breakfast was delightful, with a wide selection of options cooked to perfection. The small touches like confetti and crystals on the breakfast table added a lovely touch.

There were occasional incidents involving disruptive teens, which affected the overall experience.

We stayed in a beautifully converted farm building that is conveniently located close to Thirsk. The room we had was spacious, clean, and had a luxurious bathroom with a jacuzzi bath and walk-in shower. The host, Sue, was warm and friendly, and provided excellent service throughout our stay. The breakfast options were varied and delicious, and we enjoyed the added facilities of a swimming pool and a hot tub, which we relaxed in under the stars. The farm is also close to numerous attractions, making it an excellent location for exploring.

We were warmly greeted by Sue upon our arrival, which was a lovely gesture. the room at Newsham Grange Farm Bed & Breakfast exceeded our expectations and offered excellent services. the pool was clean and amazing, and the freshly cooked breakfast in the morning was of a high standard. It truly felt like a home away from home. the peaceful setting and attention to detail made it one of the nicest guest houses we have ever stayed in. the location was ideal for exploring North Yorkshire's attractions such as Whitby, York, and Scarborough. it was a wonderful stay thanks to Sue's hospitality.

Had the most amazing Xmas getaway in this charming countryside B&B! Loved the quiet location, perfect for relaxation, and the comfy rooms with modern touches. the breakfast was delicious, with a good variety of options, including handmade jams. the owners were really friendly and even offered us a warm welcome with some mince pies. the hot tub was just what we needed to soak tired muscles from our countryside walks. Bonus point for the fast Wi-Fi, which is not always a given in rural locations!

This charming B&B provided a great base for exploring the beautiful surrounding areas of Thirsk, Ripon, and beyond. The spacious rooms were beautifully appointed, with a dressing area and a bathroom that offered plenty of space. The warm and friendly hosting made us feel welcome, while the scrumptious breakfasts provided a perfect start to the day. The location itself was surrounded by fantastic countryside, allowing for picturesque walks and a peaceful atmosphere.

The lack of on-site leisure facilities may disappoint those seeking a bit of relaxation after a long day of exploring.
