We were pleasantly surprised by the convenient location, just a 3-minute walk from the train station. The hotel is nestled in a quiet area, away from the hustle and bustle, but still close enough to easily access all the attractions and the lakefront. The cleanliness of the rooms was outstanding, and the hotel facilities were ample, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The breakfast was delicious and efficiently served, with the option to specify our preferred dining time. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home.

The walk to the lake is not too strenuous, and the Windermere train station is very close by. The rooms are comfortable, with comfy beds ensuring a good night's sleep. The staff are excellent, providing a friendly and helpful service. The breakfast options are varied, including cereals, fruit juices, fresh fruit, and a great full English.

Some minor maintenance issues were reported, such as a hanging loo roll holder and a malfunctioning shaving mirror light.

The room was very clean and spacious, with all the necessary amenities such as tea, coffee, and a TV. the breakfast options were varied and delicious, with a choice of dining in the breakfast room or having it delivered to our room. Another advantage was the convenient location, with easy access to nearby attractions and plenty of parking available.

The room layout was quite awkward, especially the bathroom door blocking access to the sink. the room was also uncomfortably hot, even with the windows open and a fan on.
