As longer term business travelers, we appreciated the excellent breakfast with a variety of options including fruit juice, toast, tea or coffee, and cereal. The full Scottish breakfast with haggis and tattie was delicious. The rooms were well decorated and furnished, with a superb en suite featuring double vanity sinks, a spa/bath, and a spacious walk-in shower. The overall atmosphere was welcoming and accommodating.

The hotel was conveniently located in the heart of the village, with free parking just across the road. the recently refurbished hotel was easy to navigate, and we enjoyed a delicious dinner at the on-site restaurant. the menu was well-crafted and the food was of a high standard.

Our room had no heating as the radiator was not working. There was no menu provided and we were served a large Scottish breakfast without any prior explanation or option to choose.

The value for money at Nithsdale was fantastic, with a nice room and a very comfy bed. The location on the main street was surprisingly quiet, and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly throughout my stay.

The hotel's cleanliness was impeccable, and I was impressed with the range of facilities it offered. They had safe parking available, which was a great convenience for me. The location, right in the heart of the town, made it easy for me to explore the surrounding areas, including the stunning Highlands. Additionally, the hotel's central position, being close to the town hall, meant that I had easy access to local events and attractions. The breakfast served was simply delicious, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure that I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel located in the heart of the town. The location was perfect as it was directly across from the Town Hall and near to the railway station. The hotel facilities were great, with a recently renovated dining room that had lovely decor. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service throughout my stay.

The hotel is surrounded by beautiful surroundings, adding to the overall charm of the location. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with picturesque window seats providing a cozy spot to relax. The breakfast is excellent, and the staff are friendly and helpful, ensuring a pleasant stay.

Some guests have mentioned that the stairs and corridor to the rooms may be shabby, but it is possible that they are being refurbished.

As trekkers and a group of friends, we loved the hotel's convenient location near the sports event site, the spacious and comfortable rooms with large beds, and the friendly hotel staff who offered to make us a delicious packed lunch before we left early in the morning.

We did notice some minor issues with worn-out carpets and a damp smell in the bathroom.

had another amazing stay in sanquhar and this time at a fantastic hotel. everything was excellent, from the warm and friendly service to the delicious meals at oasis restaurant. michael and his team were so helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. highly recommended!

Missing packed lunch for charity challenge.

As young holiday goers, we loved the warm welcome from the friendly staff and the playful dogs. The sunny beer garden was perfect for enjoying cold pints and watching Wimbledon on the big TV. The scampi with crisp chips, salad, and peas was a delicious and generous option for dinner. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed, blackout blinds, and a luxurious ensuite with a waterfall shower, double sinks, and a spa bath.

Felt very welcome, with the staff always going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.
