As longer term business travelers, we appreciated the excellent breakfast with a variety of options including fruit juice, toast, tea or coffee, and cereal. The full Scottish breakfast with haggis and tattie was delicious. The rooms were well decorated and furnished, with a superb en suite featuring double vanity sinks, a spa/bath, and a spacious walk-in shower. The overall atmosphere was welcoming and accommodating.

The hotel was conveniently located in the heart of the village, with free parking just across the road. the recently refurbished hotel was easy to navigate, and we enjoyed a delicious dinner at the on-site restaurant. the menu was well-crafted and the food was of a high standard.

Our room had no heating as the radiator was not working. There was no menu provided and we were served a large Scottish breakfast without any prior explanation or option to choose.

The value for money at Nithsdale was fantastic, with a nice room and a very comfy bed. The location on the main street was surprisingly quiet, and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly throughout my stay.

The breakfast selection could have been improved with the addition of porridge.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel located in the heart of the town. The location was perfect as it was directly across from the Town Hall and near to the railway station. The hotel facilities were great, with a recently renovated dining room that had lovely decor. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service throughout my stay.

As trekkers and a group of friends, we loved the hotel's convenient location near the sports event site, the spacious and comfortable rooms with large beds, and the friendly hotel staff who offered to make us a delicious packed lunch before we left early in the morning.

The staff were really nice, friendly, and helpful, making our stay enjoyable. The breakfast was excellent and the restaurant served good food. the hotel was conveniently located near to the railway station, making it easy to explore the surrounding area.

We did notice some minor issues with worn-out carpets and a damp smell in the bathroom.

had another amazing stay in sanquhar and this time at a fantastic hotel. everything was excellent, from the warm and friendly service to the delicious meals at oasis restaurant. michael and his team were so helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. highly recommended!
