We loved the charming location, just off the harbour, and the peaceful atmosphere of No 4. The room was beautifully decorated, spacious, and extremely comfortable. The small details like fresh milk and cold water provided made us feel welcome. The proximity to the hotels and bars in the port was very convenient, and the view of the sun setting over the harbour was truly magical. The breakfasts were excellent, with plenty of options to choose from, and the hosts were incredibly kind and accommodating. No 4 has definitely converted us to B&Bs and we will be returning in the future.

We had a fantastic stay at a B&B in a fantastic location, very clean and comfortable. The hotel was in a quiet side street with a short 2-minute walk to the main front and sea. It was a classic B&B close to the harbor and within a few hundred yards walk of dog-friendly seafront pubs serving excellent food. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were friendly and welcoming.

I recently had a wonderful stay at a charming hotel in a beautiful coastal village. The location was perfect, just a stone's throw away from the beach and all the local amenities. The room I stayed in was tastefully decorated and had everything I needed, including a comfortable modern armchair and lovely views from the large windows. The service provided by the hotel staff was exceptional, they were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Additionally, the breakfast offered a variety of delicious options to start the day off right.

We enjoyed being able to easily walk to the bars and restaurants in the area. The breakfast provided was delicious and made with local ingredients. Simon, the staff member, was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

I recently stayed at a B&B in a picturesque village near the coast. The location was ideal, as it was very close to the harbour front and right near the centre of the village. The room was comfortable with a lovely view overlooking the putting green and even a limited sea view. The service was impeccable, with a warm welcome from the host and a delicious homemade Scottish shortbread on the tea/coffee tray. The breakfasts were hearty and well-cooked, setting me up for the day ahead.

Although the room was comfortable, I would have appreciated a few extra hangers for wet towels or jackets.

Great New Year experience! the location was ideal, with easy access to transport links and local attractions. the room facilities were fantastic, with excellent tea and coffee making facilities and fresh towels provided every day. the bed was comfy, and the modernly furnished en-suite provided a great power shower. the homemade shortbread was a particular highlight, and the cooked breakfast was delicious.

There were no dressing table and mirror in the room, which would have been useful. Although the host provided a hairdryer, it would have been better to have one readily available in the room.

No 4 is an absolute gem. Tucked away in a quiet street just off the harbour, it is a truly delightful place to stay. Our room was large, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The breakfasts were excellent and our hosts could not have been nicer. After years of shunning B&Bs in favor of pubs and hotels, No 4 has me converted and I will definitely be back.

our recent stay in portpatrick was delightful, but our experience at a new bnb, jus a short walk fom the shore, surpassed all expectations. we had an impeccable room with a stunning sea view, a comfortable bed, and a spotless shower. the breakfast was superb, locally sourced, and filling.
