I recently had a fantastic stay at this hotel in a room that comfortably fit four beds. The facilities were great, with a spacious bathroom and an amazing shower. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. Additionally, the hotel's central location made it easy to explore the city and visit attractions like the castle. The inclusive breakfast had plenty of options for vegetarians, making it a great value for money stay.

All in all, my stay at this hotel was absolutely fine.

The family room was perfect for our group of four, with comfortable beds and nice linens. The spacious room had high ceilings and nice furnishings, and the bathroom was very nice with a good-sized shower. The owner/manager was very kind and helpful, providing recommendations for dinner and giving a nice overview of the area. The location was great, with many good restaurants and shops nearby. The breakfast offered at a restaurant down the street was good, with generous portions.

Shower pressure was low.

We stayed in a hotel in a fantastic neighborhood filled with charming pubs and restaurants. There was so much choice, from elegant breakfast options nearby to a vibrant nightlife scene. The hotel was conveniently located in the centre of the city, close to the railway station. The room and bathroom were in great condition, spacious and clean. The friendly staff provided us with helpful recommendations and tips.

The noise from outside could be heard through the older windows.

I recently stayed at No. 53 Frederick Street for a few nights during my visit to Edinburgh. The location was unbeatable, with the castle and Rose Street pubs just a short walk away. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the staff, especially Walter, were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. There was also free motorcycle parking nearby, which was a bonus. I had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this hotel.

The location of the hotel is simply perfect, right in the city centre with easy access to shops, bars, and restaurants. It's also within walking distance to all major attractions, including the castle, which was awesome. The rooms are spacious and well-cleaned, and the in-suite bathrooms are a great advantage. The staff provides friendly service and offers helpful advice about things to do and places to eat in the area.

The only inconvenience is the flight of stairs, which may be a challenge for some guests.

We absolutely loved our stay at No. 53 Frederick Street. The location was superb, with everything we needed within walking distance. The room was beautifully designed and incredibly comfortable. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly, making us feel welcome throughout our stay.

Stayed here for Christmas and loved it! The staff were super friendly and offered us complimentary drinks on arrival and delicious mince pies at tea-time. The location was ideal, right in the heart of the city and within walking distance to all the main attractions. The room was cozy and comfortable, with a lovely view of the city. We also enjoyed the free WiFi which was fast and reliable!

We did experience some issues during our stay. The hot water in the shower was intermittent and there was no room service during our visit.
