Basic but suitable for a night with child and pet. Cooking facilities, sofa, TV, and cafe nearby. A short walk to the beach and cinema. Would return.

We had a wonderful stay at this welcoming lodge. Marianne greeted us warmly and the room was impeccably clean, exceeding our expectations. We loved the communal room, which was beautifully furnished and equipped. Being dog-friendly was a big plus for us, and the free parking was convenient. The location was excellent, close to all amenities. We would definitely choose to stay here again.

Fantastic weekend! the accommodation was clean and comfy, with a lovely communal area. Great location near Peasholm park and a short walk to the beach. Stayed here with my partner and our dog, who was welcome for free.

En-suite bathroom is small and might be cramped for taller people. Noise from neighboring rooms can be an issue if they come back late and make a ruckus.

During our recent stay at North Sands Lodge, we were pleasantly surprised by the relaxed and friendly family feel of the establishment. It truly felt like a home away from home. The location was also fantastic, as we were able to easily walk to all the attractions in Scarborough. The warm greeting we received from Marianne upon arrival made us feel instantly welcome. We also appreciated the accommodation being dog-friendly, allowing us to bring our well-behaved sproodle along for the trip without any additional charges. The room we stayed in was small but cozy, perfect for a couple and a dog. Everything was spotless, and we especially loved the use of naturally essential oil mists in the rooms. The shared lounge and kitchen facilities were a great addition, allowing us to enjoy a romantic dinner inside on one of the evenings. Free parking and a nearby park for walks added to the convenience. we highly recommend North Sands Lodge for a pleasant and enjoyable seaside getaway.

The rooms get really hot in the summer, and there was no fan or air conditioning unit provided. It made it difficult to sleep comfortably.
