I had a very enjoyable overnight stay at Nunsmere Hall. The friendly welcome from the receptionist and porter made me feel at ease right away. Check-in and check-out were a breeze, thanks to the helpful and personable receptionist. The only downside was that the grounds and car park could have been tidier, but I understand that the winter weather may have played a role in this.

We verbleven in een goed uitgerust en ruim appartement met gedeeltelijk uitzicht op zee. Het resort, hoewel buiten het centrum, bood een ontspannen verblijf met een zwembad en privéstrand. Het eten in het Griekse thema restaurant was heerlijk en betaalbaar. Er was natuurlijk een kleine supermarkt voor onze behoeften. De eigenaren waren zeer behulpzaam en vriendelijk, waardoor ons verblijf nog aangenamer werd.

Helaas ontbraken enkele essentiële voorzieningen in de kamer, zoals zeep, shampoo en toiletpapier.

Despite the lack of rain, the grounds were still attractive. The bar staff were particularly lovely, serving delicious local beer on tap. The evening meal was excellent, some of the best food I've ever tried, and breakfast was just as good. Special thanks to the polite and friendly gentleman at reception.

We had a fabulous sleep in a super comfy bed with great pillows. The hotel felt very homely and warm, with spotless rooms and lovely decor. The staff were all super friendly and very helpful. The location was in a quiet area with beautiful surroundings, by a lovely lake and close to a river. We enjoyed a lovely walk in nature at Delamere forest, only a short drive away. The hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained.
