We had a lovely romantic getaway at a charming Victorian hotel in the heart of the Lake District. the location was ideal, surrounded by beautiful scenery and within walking distance of local attractions. the staff were friendly and accommodating, ensuring that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. the room was well-appointed with a comfortable bed and a high-quality bathroom. We also appreciated the complimentary cake upon arrival and the surprise balcony where we could relax and enjoy the peaceful ambiance.

While the overall experience was pleasant, there were a few areas that could be improved. Check-in was a bit disorganized, with no clear desk and a wait for available staff.

The hotel is perfectly located in the center of town, making it easy to explore the Lake District. It is right next door to Lewis's restaurant, offering convenient dining options. The hotel has a quirky and authentic vibe, with recently refurbished Victorian features.

The management could be better, as there were instances of unprofessional behavior from the manager.

The hotel's central location made it easy for us to explore the surrounding area and go on some lovely walks. We also enjoyed a fantastic high-end dining experience at the hotel's "Dining Room" restaurant. a truly delightful place to stay.

I recently stayed at this luxurious 4-star hotel and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The location of the hotel was perfect, right in the heart of this charming town. I loved that it was conveniently located near a bus stop, making it easy for me to explore the surrounding area. And let's not forget about the famous Gingerbread shop, which was almost just across the road from this place. It was a treat to be able to indulge in their delicious treats.
