We stayed at Ocean View Bar & Rooms for one night during our NC500 trip. The hosts were welcoming, our room was comfortable with a lovely view of the sunset. The continental breakfast had a great selection and the outdoor eating area was enjoyable. The hotel has a beautiful, natural decor and the owners, Clare and Stuart, were excellent hosts. Sprocket, their adorable Italian Sponone, was a delight. Highly recommended as a base for touring the area.

Unpleasant smell

The location of this hotel is fantastic, with stunning views of the loch and beautiful surroundings. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with a good-sized bathroom. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast is delicious. The hotel also offers a games room with various activities like darts and table football.

As women traveling alone, we felt comfortable and safe. The hotel had a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with friendly staff and owners. The room was clean and comfortable, with a lovely sea view. The breakfast was enjoyable, with good coffee. The outdoor eating area was a highlight, especially for a delicious meal in the evening sunshine. The hotel also had a charming Italian Sponone named Sprocket. It's a great base for touring the area, highly recommended.

We got great value for our money with a lovely, modern and tasteful room and a stunning sea view. The hotel's location on the West Coast was perfect for our NC500 trip, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating.

Stunning location with a bay window above the bed. Friendly staff kept the kitchen open for our late arrival. Recently refurbished with comfy beds and spacious/clean bathroom. Relaxing dining/bar area with amazing view. Best place to stay between Ullapool and Gairloch.

I had an amazing stay at this lovely and tastefully renovated hotel on the West Coast. the owners were exceptionally friendly and made me feel very welcome. the freshly cooked evening meal and drinks by the log fire were delightful. the room was clean and modern, and the comfortable bed ensured a peaceful sleep. And the stunning sea view in the morning was a perfect start to the day. the owners even thoughtfully provided dog treats for my furry friend. the experience at Ocean View Bar & Rooms was outstanding.
