The staff were incredibly polite and friendly, and my room was clean and comfortable. The hotel provided a peaceful and quiet environment, perfect for a good night's sleep. The restaurant served amazing food, beautifully presented and delicious. I also loved the hotel's location, nestled in a charming market town with easy access to the major lakes and the coast. it was a pleasant stay and I would definitely come back.

The rooms were smartly furnished and comfortable, with everything you need. The food was exceptional, with a bit of flair, and the staff and owners were very friendly and welcoming. The location was lovely for exploring the southern end of Lakeland.

The room was cozy and well-furnished with soft bedding and a spacious bathroom. the hotel had a convenient location with many nearby shops and restaurants. the rustic decor in the common areas added to the charm of the hotel.

The noise level from doors banging in our room was infuriating, and it was unsettling to come back in the dark at around 9 pm when the hotel was already closed. the service in the restaurant was slow on the first night of our stay which caused significant frustration.

The location of the restaurant for evening meals away from the pub is a great advantage. The staff at the pub are friendly and informative, and the room and bed are very comfortable. The breakfasts are perfect and set you up for the day. The village has a great fresh fruit/veg store and butchers, and there are fabulous walks around the Broughton Tower for your dog.

Traditional pub with cosy décor and friendly staff. High standard twin room with beautiful furnishings. Convenient parking and easy access to Lake District attractions. Delicious cooked-to-order breakfast. A pleasant stay overall.
