I recently stayed at Old Loans Inn for a few days and it was fantastic! The hotel is incredibly clean and the staff are friendly and attentive. The bedroom was the best I've ever stayed in, immaculate and with all the amenities I needed. The housekeeping staff were wonderful. Breakfast was delicious and served in a very professional manner. The location is quiet and peaceful, just a short drive from the seaside. a great experience and I'll definitely be back!

The restaurant offers a good selection of dishes for both light bites and evening meals, and the food is reasonably priced and of good quality.

It is worth noting that the hotel is further away from the town center, which may not be ideal for those looking to be close to the city center and its amenities.

We spent New Year's Eve at a lovely hotel near the coast. the staff was incredibly friendly and hospitable, just what we needed for a relaxing getaway. the hotel was located a short distance from a beautiful beach and just a walk away from the vibrant nightlife of the town. We especially enjoyed the delicious breakfast and the spacious and comfortable rooms. the heating system ensured we were warm and cozy in the chilly winter weather.

Although generally great, we weren't thrilled about the limited space for pre-dinner drinks as the lounge was almost always full. Some of the staff seemed overworked and we encountered a few small hiccups with service, but the friendly and helpful attitude made up for any little errors.

The room was much bigger than I expected, more like a mini suite. It had a rooftop terrace and a ground floor terrace where the bar and restaurant were located. the room was lovely and big with a very comfy bed. the shower was hot and powerful. the full Scottish breakfast was delicious. Staff are always friendly and polite.

It's not actually in the town I was expecting, but in a small village just on the edge of the town. It was a bit misleading, as I thought it was closer to the center.

We were pleasantly surprised by this place. The room was much larger than we expected, feeling more like a mini suite. The rooftop terrace was a fantastic addition, and there was also a ground floor terrace where the bar and restaurant are located that catches the beautiful afternoon sun. The staff were friendly and very helpful, and the room itself was excellently clean and comfortable. The breakfast options were plentiful and cooked to a high standard. We were particularly impressed with the hotel's dog-friendly amenities, from the doggy station at the entrance to the treats in the room and the helpful dog holiday leaflet. Our furry friend was very much welcomed and looked after.
