The hotel itself was very cozy, with spacious and comfortable rooms that were separate from the pub/restaurant. The cleanliness was spotless, and the amenities provided, such as a TV, free Wi-Fi, and a shower and bath, were much appreciated. The staff were friendly and the service was top-notch. Additionally, the breakfast was absolutely delicious and plentiful, ensuring a great start to the day.

The room I stayed in was lovely and cosy, with comfortable furniture and a nicely decorated interior. The bed was very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The breakfast provided was delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from, all freshly cooked. I especially appreciated the thoughtfulness of allowing pets in the bar restaurant, as I was traveling with my dog. The hotel also had a fabulous outdoor terrace, which I can imagine would be perfect for enjoying dinner and drinks during the summer months.

The staff provided excellent service and were attentive to every detail. The basic amenities in the rooms were fantastic, including comfy beds, air conditioning, and even a mini fridge stocked with chilled water. The rooms themselves were lovely and clean, with a special touch of unique furniture. Additionally, the breakfast in the restaurant was top-notch, with a great selection to choose from.

I recently stayed at the Old Oak in Thirsk for 2 nights and had a fantastic experience. The staff, especially Joe, were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The room was excellent, with spaciousness and a big TV. The pub on-site offers great food and real ale, and the breakfast was delicious and freshly cooked to order. The parking facilities were also excellent, and they even welcomed our dog. a superb stay!

Located in another building near the pub, the hotel is close enough to walk to the town centre. The rooms were superb, with lovely touches like local oak furniture. The breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond. There is a beer garden at the back for drinks and food, adding to the overall experience.

The hotel's location next to a main road may result in some noise disturbances.

The hotel is situated in a perfect location, just a short distance from Thirsk and Ripon, making it easily accessible while still being peaceful and quiet. The rooms are well appointed, spacious, and incredibly clean, with all the modern facilities one could need. The breakfast served in the pub itself was absolutely delicious, one of the best I've had in a long time.

The room was spacious, clean, and had a comfortable king size bed. The bathroom had a powerful shower with plenty of hot water. The added bonus of having tea and coffee facilities, as well as an iron and hairdryer, made the stay even more convenient. The restaurant had a huge selection of delicious food, with perfectly cooked dishes and generous portions. The large patio area with comfy rattan furniture was a great spot to relax. Despite being a pet-friendly hotel, there was no awkwardness or inconvenience. the hotel provided excellent value for money and the hosts were welcoming and attentive.

The morning traffic noise from the bypass might disturb light sleepers. The towels provided were a bit thin.

The Old Oak Tree in Thirsk was a great place to stay with my family. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-equipped. The staff were all very friendly and made us feel welcome. The food at the pub/restaurant was delicious with a great variety to choose from. The location was excellent, with easy access to the A19 and within walking distance to Thirsk. It was also a convenient base for visiting Whitby and Scarborough. it was a fabulous place to stay and eat, and we would definitely visit again.

We felt privileged during our stay at The Old Oak Tree in Thirsk, and we have no complaints at all.
