The location of the restaurant serving breakfast was perfect, as it was away from the pub and allowed for a peaceful start to the day. The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere and was beautifully presented, making it a pleasant place to enjoy a meal. the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, ensuring that guests felt comfortable and well taken care of.

The internet connection in the hotel was inconsistent, requiring guests to constantly re-log in during their stay.

The picturesque village location of this hotel is a real advantage, with a local bakery supplying delicious treats right next to the pub. The room we stayed in was very comfortable and clean, with a large, modern bathroom. The staff were polite and helpful, always with a smile on their faces. We enjoyed a fabulous breakfast with farm-quality ingredients. This hotel exceeded our expectations with its attention to detail and cozy atmosphere.

The only drawback was the intermittent staff service, with some delays in the mornings.

We recently stayed at this lovely countryside inn for a romantic escape and we enjoyed it a lot. the rooms were brilliantly furnished, very comfortable and charming. the surrounding landscape was beautiful, the landscaped courtyard was stunning and the restaurant was lovely. It was great that they allowed dogs, which we thought was a plus, because we could take our furry friend with us. the breakfast was excellent with many delicious options to choose from.

There were some minor flaws that can be improved. We would have loved to have a larger towel each, and maybe a few more amenities in the bathroom.

One minor issue we encountered was the limited supply of toiletries provided in the room. Only one vial of shower gel and one coffee bag for a two-night stay was a bit insufficient.

Just had an amazing stay at The Lion in Malpas! The newly renovated rooms were spacious with incredibly comfortable beds, and the bath and shower were fabulous. The attention to detail was impressive, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. We loved the delicious breakfast, as well as the bar and restaurant. Highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

The room was clean and modern, with a spacious bathroom and a great shower. We also enjoyed the free on-site parking. The staff were friendly and even remembered our tea and coffee preferences. Breakfast was included and we loved the bread from the local bakery. the Lion At provided great value for money and we would definitely stay here again.
