Lovely and cozy room with a big, comfy bed and plenty of storage space. The staff were attentive and even provided an additional heater when it was cold. We were pleasantly surprised by a phone call informing us about the breakfast closing time. a great stay. I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel exceeded my expectations in terms of cleanliness and room decor. the large room with a four-poster bed and spa bath was beautifully decorated and very clean. the staff were extremely helpful and went out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay. the peaceful location provided the perfect atmosphere for relaxation and unwinding.

There were a few aspects that could be improved. Some of the fixtures and fittings in the bathrooms seemed outdated and in need of maintenance.

Just returned from a mini break at this lovely hotel and we were blown away! the property has so much character and charm, and the grounds are absolutely stunning. It was the perfect peaceful setting for us to relax after a busy business trip. We stayed here twice already and can honestly say it's the only place we'd ever want to stay in again. the staff were fantastic, and the breakfast they delivered to our room was delicious. Highly recommend this gem of a hotel to anyone looking for a memorable stay.

The staff is friendly and attentive, providing excellent service. The breakfast is delicious, with fresh and plentiful options. The hotel is conveniently situated near the train station, making it easy to explore the surrounding area.

The simplicity of the dinner menu may leave some guests wanting more variety in their dining options.

We had a great weekend with our family at this charming hotel. the building had a lovely old world ambience and the decor was beautiful. the rooms were clean, comfortable, and had period furniture. the staff, especially Natalie, were amazing - always there when we needed them and with a smile. the poached eggs for breakfast were cooked to perfection, and we also enjoyed the gorgeous surroundings and the friendly atmosphere.

Our double room was a bit small and cramped, with minimal storage space for clothes. the bed length was on the shorter side, and the bathroom could have used some updating.

The bed was a bit small for our liking and there wasn't much to do in the evenings at the hotel. However, we had a great time exploring the local pubs and restaurants and the hotel's staff had plenty of recommendations for us.

The staff go above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay, and the service is outstanding. The attention to detail in the rooms and the kitchen, with it being directly below the bedroom, is impressive. For just £60, you get great value for money, with breakfast included. Speaking of breakfast, the food is of a very high standard, and the sausages are simply out of this world. Not to mention, the breakfast is served on HOT plates with HOT toast, which is a delightful touch.
