The location of the hotel is simply unbeatable, situated just steps away from the entrance to the lively pub, making it extremely convenient for guests. The basic amenities provided were more than sufficient, and the comfortable rooms were a welcome retreat after a long day of exploring. And let's talk about breakfast - it was absolutely delicious and the perfect start to the day.

We had a fantastic stay at The Old Silent Inn, enjoying the warm welcome, clean rooms, and excellent service. The breakfast was delicious, with a variety of options to choose from. The inn has a charming, old-fashioned pub atmosphere with oak beams and fireplaces. It is in a brilliant location, close to a country park and just minutes away by car from Howarth. The two car parks and dog-friendly policy were also a great bonus.

The history behind the place was interesting and the portions of food were very generous. There was a good selection of sweets to choose from as well.

The room was not up to standard. the heating did not work properly, making it difficult to get comfortable.

I loved the location of the inn, with the entrance near the door to the pub creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a stunning view of the surrounding countryside. The service was impeccable, with friendly staff who were always ready to assist. The breakfast spread was delicious, with a variety of options to choose from. The facilities, such as the parking area and dog-friendly policy, were an added bonus.

There was a slight issue with the carpet on the stairs being threadbare.
