Noisy at night but great location.

Had an awesome group trip! The location was perfect, and we enjoyed the view from our room. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of choices. We checked out the Edinburgh Castle and caught a stunning Easter Play performance. The staff was friendly and super helpful through our stay. Definitely recommend this place for a fun getaway with friends!

It took longer than expected to get in touch with someone, which was a bit frustrating.

Check-in took far too long!!! The room was dated with shabby furniture, the floor sloped and creaked. Only one inaccessible socket for styling hair!!! A more varied tea selection would be appreciated!!! Lukewarm breakfast buffet does not meet expectations!!!

Request a room with a castle view for a delightful experience. the scenery from the window enhances your stay remarkably.

i had the utter misfortune of staying in a dreary room with a pathetic view of boilers, and let’s not even talk about the unbearable 3pm check-in like i have nothing better to do. honestly, after all that, you’d think they’d at least throw in a complimentary drink! can hardly believe i’m giving it a 7, but here we are.

such a lovely spot, sure, but the walls were paper thin and I could hear every little thing. and forget about breakfast, the bacon was basically swimming in grease. after the chaos, I mean, I honestly thought a complimentary drink woudl ve been a nice gesture, but apparently that’s too much to ask. defnitely could have been better!

The family room provided a stunning view of the castle, and the location was perfect for walking to key attractions. However, the noise from the streets and the squeaky floors made it difficult to sleep well at night.

Location is absolutely perfect, right across from Robert Burns monument, Edinburgh Castle, and Waverly Train station! The hotel is clean, warm, and has fascinating old-school charm. Breakfast was spot on! 🥐✨

With my wife and three small kids, we enjoyed a beautiful view over Princes Street during our stay. Breakfast was great, with super fresh poached eggs and plenty of options. We loved exploring the city and found the location perfect for family outings.

My wife says that the stairs were a bit challenging for our little ones. A lift option would really improve accessibility for families.

This place was just a commendable fit for spending the night in Edinburgh with good value for cost. The bed was comfortable and the shower was good, which made for a decent stay. Try to avoid rooms overlooking the noisy ventilation systems for a better night's sleep.
