I recently stayed at the charming Pack Horse Inn for a weekend getaway. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well equipped, with a standout feature being the amazing shower in room 2. The views from the hotel were breathtaking, and the food at the restaurant exceeded our expectations. Despite the room size not being massive, it was perfectly adequate for our needs. Additionally, the hotel's location is conveniently only a 30-minute drive to the Peak District.

The hotel itself is immaculately clean with a remarkable attention to detail. The staff here are exceptional, always friendly and polite, making me feel right at home. The service provided was top-notch and the rooms were well-appointed with all the amenities I needed, including tea and coffee facilities and free toiletries. The dining experience was delightful, with a delicious breakfast and a great selection on the menu.

Our room, Room 6, was beautifully presented with stunning views. the cleanliness was exceptional, and the extra touches like fresh fruit and sweets in the room were thoughtful. the meals exceeded our expectations, with a wide variety for breakfast and delicious evening options. the staff went above and beyond, even preparing a meal for us when we arrived late. the whole atmosphere, location, and service were outstanding. We will definitely be returning to this wonderful establishment.

The patio area behind the hotel was a lovely place to enjoy meals, and the marquee provided shade from the hot weather. The friendly staff made sure I felt safe and comfortable during my stay, and the breakfast options were plentiful. I had a fantastic experience and I would highly recommend this hidden gem.
