I recently stayed at the charming Pack Horse Inn for a weekend getaway. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well equipped, with a standout feature being the amazing shower in room 2. The views from the hotel were breathtaking, and the food at the restaurant exceeded our expectations. Despite the room size not being massive, it was perfectly adequate for our needs. Additionally, the hotel's location is conveniently only a 30-minute drive to the Peak District.

The hotel itself is immaculately clean with a remarkable attention to detail. The staff here are exceptional, always friendly and polite, making me feel right at home. The service provided was top-notch and the rooms were well-appointed with all the amenities I needed, including tea and coffee facilities and free toiletries. The dining experience was delightful, with a delicious breakfast and a great selection on the menu.

The patio area behind the hotel was a lovely place to enjoy meals, and the marquee provided shade from the hot weather. The friendly staff made sure I felt safe and comfortable during my stay, and the breakfast options were plentiful. I had a fantastic experience and I would highly recommend this hidden gem.

pack horse inn in mellor exceeded my expectations with its warm, friendly welcome, spacious rooms, and incredibly comfortable beds. the stunning countryside surroundings and delicious breakfast menu made my stay even more enjoyable. it is definitely a place i highly recommend and will return to in the future.

Lovely welcome, friendly atmosphere, fresh milk and fruit in room. Great views even in rain, bed a bit firm. Big bath, spotlessly clean. Superb breakfast, would stay again.
