This hotel ticks all the boxes for a memorable stay. The location on the edge of the loch is simply breathtaking, offering stunning views from both the rooms and the dining area. The rooms are spacious, clean, and come with ensuite bathrooms, and the attention to detail is evident throughout. The staff are welcoming, informal, and provide excellent service, making you feel right at home. The breakfast, with its commanding view out over the loch, is the perfect way to start the day.

No improvements necessary - everything was exceptional.

For the price we paid, we got great value with clean and comfortable rooms and a breathtaking view of the sea loch. The location was perfect for exploring Mull and Iona, and the staff at the hotel couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful.

The breakfast experience could have been improved with a greater variety of accompanying vegetables and some sauces for dishes like the venison steak.

We were pleasantly surprised by our stay at a charming B&B that also served delicious dinner. The convenient location offered stunning views of the loch and hills. Our room was comfortable, and the food in the dining room was excellent. The new owners were welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel.

The Inn At Port Nan Gael in Pennyghael is located right by the shoreline of Loch Scridain, offering stunning views of the loch. The rooms are warm, clean, and airy, and the beds are comfortable. The bathroom is well laid out and the breakfast is excellent, with options for all tastes. The staff is warm, welcoming, and helpful, going above and beyond to make guests feel comfortable.

The soup served in the evening could use a little more seasoning to enhance the flavor.

I stayed at Inn At Port Nan Gael for a few days while exploring the Isle of Mull. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, giving us great tips on where to see the island's wildlife. The room I stayed in had a fresh and modern decor, with a stunning view of Loch Scridain and the mountains beyond. The meals, prepared by Tony, were delicious and well presented, especially breakfast. The hotel's location was remote and peaceful, perfect for a quiet and scenic getaway. I would highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing stay on the Isle of Mull.

Enjoyed our romantic escape on Mull Island. Hotel location was breathtaking, surrounded by stunning lochs and mountains. the food was fresh, locally sourced and cooked to perfection, the perfect taste of Scotland. We appreciated the option to dine in as no other options were nearby. the friendly and attentive staff made our stay enjoyable. the room had a comfortable bed with high-quality bedding and the room was always clean and tidy.

The bathroom was outdated and only had a hand-held shower over the bath which made it difficult to wash my hair. the bathroom could use an update to match the modern decor throughout the rest of the hotel.

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely hotel. the breakfast was outstanding and we even got to take leftovers with us for a picnic lunch on the beach of Iona. the family running the hotel, including the mother who served breakfast and the son who handled dinner and bar service, were incredibly welcoming and helpful. They provided us with tips about the island and even booked a boat trip for us. the hotel's location was perfect, with beautiful views of the loch and easy access to the Iona ferry. the dinner and breakfast were delicious, and our room was comfortable and well-appointed. we highly recommend this hotel and its owners for their professionalism and hospitality.

From the warm welcome we received from the owners to the excellent meals and service, everything was top-notch. the rooms were fantastic with lots of extra touches, and the view overlooking the sea Loch was breathtaking. the location in the middle of the island was perfect for exploring without a lot of backtracking on narrow roads. We even had the pleasure of seeing an otter in the water across the road. We highly recommend a stay at this hotel and would love to return in the future.
