A warm and friendly atmosphere made me feel right at home. The breakfast girl was genuinely helpful and served a delicious breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable, with tea/coffee facilities and a hair dryer. The restaurant staff provided excellent service and the food was fantastic. I highly recommend this hotel.

We had a great time as a group of friends at Pentland Hotel. The friendly staff, fabulous food, and well-stocked bar made our stay enjoyable. The central location in the characterful town of Thurso was a bonus. The rooms were clean and the towels were a great size. The restaurant had a good gluten-free selection at breakfast. we were impressed with the facilities and amenities provided.

The hotel is conveniently located near the railway station and within walking distance to the town center. Additionally, guests can enjoy easy access to shops and a fantastic Indian restaurant nearby. The staff members are welcoming and helpful, ensuring a pleasant experience. The breakfast is delicious, with a wide variety of options including cooked produce, pastries, cereals, and yogurt. The rooms may be a bit tired, but they are clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable night's sleep.

Some guests have mentioned that the mattress and pillows in the rooms are not the most comfortable.

The city break was lovely and this hotel had fantastic staff, very helpful indeed. the breakfast was my favorite part, they had a choice of options for everyone, it was delicious. Another good point was the option to have breakfast either in the room, or in the lobby with a lovely view of the city. the hotel was well-located, we could walk everywhere, and there was a dog-friendly park near the hotel.

The hotel needs some updating as the rooms were quite outdated, but clean. the bathroom was also quite tired and in need of some repair.
