I had an incredible stay at this hotel in South Uist. The location was absolutely stunning, situated right by a long sandy beach that looked absolutely breathtaking at sunset. The rooms had fantastic views over to Barra, and I loved waking up to such a beautiful sight. The staff were incredibly friendly and provided excellent service throughout my stay. They were always willing to accommodate any special requests I had, and even adapted the meals to suit my dietary needs, which I greatly appreciated. The breakfast, especially the hand-made tatty scones, was delicious and the perfect way to start each day. I was impressed with the attention to detail and basic amenities provided at this hotel.

Located by rocks at end of beach. Elaine got non-allergenic pillows. Well-trained, polite staff. Fine dinner and Scottish breakfast with hand-made tatty scones. Loved Harris tweed in bedroom design.

Awesome location surrounded by breathtaking views and the breakfast menu was outstanding, offering lots of innovative dishes that were a pleasant surprise.

Although we enjoyed our stay at the hotel, there were a few downsides that took away from the experience. the room was really small, more like a single than a double, and lacked enough space for our luggage which made us feel claustrophobic.

We loved the quiet and clean rooms, the comfortable bed, and the nice bathroom. The small kitchen area was a great convenience, allowing us to keep drinks cold and warm up food. The staff at the reception were very nice and efficient, making check-in and check-out a breeze. The hotel's excellent location made it easy for us to visit nearby facilities like the Bellagio, Aria, MGM, and the Mile shops. Plus, there was no casino in the hotel, which meant no smoke, crowds, or noise in the lobby.

my recent stay at a lovely inn on Lochboisdale left me wanting more. the ocean view from my cozy room was amazing, and the delightful food surpassed my expectations. I even had the pleasure of meeting friendly locals and enjoying a serene beach walk. can't wait to go back!

One thing was missing - the room wasn't properly stocked.

The location of the hotel was absolutely stunning, with beautiful clear beaches and mountains nearby. It truly felt like a picture-perfect spot. the rooms were also wonderful, with comfortable beds and the use of Harris Tweed for the curtains and headboard added a touch of luxury. the restaurant was a real treat, serving delicious lobster dishes that were nicely balanced and not too heavy.

The lack of mobile phone coverage was a major drawback, making it difficult to stay connected with the outside world. the hotel's wine selection could be improved, as it did not offer a wide variety to choose from.

had a great stay in lochboisdale but polochar inn was even better - beautiful rooms with comfy bedding and lovely use of harris tweed. restaurant served amazing lobster dishes with friendly staff.

And let's not forget the mouthwatering breakfast, with hand-made tatty scones that were simply delicious.

The only minor issue we encountered during our stay was a slight wait between courses, but overall, this hotel was a fantastic place to stay.
