The towels in the room were a bit thin and scratchy, and the room was a bit cramped for two people. It would have also been helpful to receive more information about parking before arrival.

porch house bed & breakfast exceeded our expectations once again during our weekend trip to northallerton. the hospitality was incomparable, with fresh fruit and chocolates every night, tea service in the room, and super hot water in the shower. our hosts chauffeured us to the wedding destination, made us breakfast to order each morning, and provided stimulating and entertaining conversation. lovely people and a truly memorable stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Porch House Bed & Breakfast. From the warm welcome to the lovely extras like fresh flowers, chocolates, and homemade shortbread biscuits, everything was perfect. The room was clean and comfortable, with a beautiful view of the garden. The breakfast was exceptional, with a delicious selection of fresh fruits, yogurt, and a full Yorkshire breakfast. The hosts were attentive and the location was ideal, being close to restaurants and overlooking a charming old church. We would love to stay at Porch House again.
