My first time at a hostel and the friendly staff made me feel welcome. Excellent location and clean twin room with ensuite. Like a guest house rather than a hostel. Plenty of amenities nearby.

stayed in portree before, but this weekend at the youth was even better! staff super friendly, full kitchen with complimentary coffee, and great location in the center of town with pubs and bars nearby. will recommend and stay again!

The location is perfect, with Portree Square and its bus station in the front and Portree Bay in the back. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. The private bathroom was clean. The staff was extremely helpful and had that lovely Scottish friendliness. The kitchen was clean and practical, and the lounge was welcoming. Looking forward to returning for a longer stay.
