As a budget traveller, I loved the warm welcome and friendly staff. The room was clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. The breakfast was superb, with a wide selection of delicious options. The location, although across the water from the main town, was lovely and offered a unique experience with the sea ferry to Teignmouth.

Felt right at home, no complaints at all.

The location was perfect, as it was near the brilliant ferry that takes you to the town and right next to a lovely pub in both Shaldon and Teignmouth. This made it convenient for exploring the beach, harbor, and other attractions in the area.

I recently stayed at Potters Mooring in Shaldon for one night. The hosts were friendly and accommodating, allowing dogs in certain rooms, and the location was perfect with just a 2-minute walk to the beach. The room was comfortable, clean, and had its own private entrance. The breakfast was superb, with a wide variety of options, including a delicious Full English. I would definitely consider staying at Potters Mooring again for a longer visit next time.

Spent Christmas holidays at a hotel in a charming village by the sea. Enjoyed the beautiful scenery while driving up to it. Appreciated the fact that it was only a two minute walk to the beach. Loved the selection of delicious food available at the nearby restaurants. the friendly locals gave us a warm welcome and made us feel at home. the spacious rooms and comfy beds made our stay comfortable. Liked the fact that the hotel provided complimentary beverages and snacks in the room, which was a nice touch.

Had some issues communicating with the hotel prior to arrival, as we did not receive a response to our enquiry email. This led to some confusion when we arrived with our dog, for which we had requested accommodation.

The rooms were beautifully decorated and cozy, with thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. the breakfast options were amazing, with a great selection to choose from. the staff were friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable. the location was perfect, right in the heart of the village, with everything we needed within walking distance.

That our room faced the kitchen, and the early morning extractor fan noise prevented us from having a lie-in. However, this was a minor inconvenience that could easily be solved by using earplugs.

Lovely location, off-road parking, friendly hosts. Beautiful cottage with comfortable beds and adjoining twin room. Delicious breakfast using local produce. Pet-friendly with ground floor rooms. Highly recommend!

We had a fantastic stay at this 4-star hotel. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach and ferry, as well as the best fish and chips in town. The staff were very accommodating and helped us choose this place for our stay. The service was excellent, with attentive housekeeping and room amenities that exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious and comfortable, with everything we needed including ironing facilities, heating, and tea and coffee facilities. We also enjoyed the sitting area and the garden furniture outside. The complimentary toiletries were a nice touch, and the flat-screen TV added to our relaxation. The breakfast was outstanding, with a wide variety of options including special diet menus. The staff even went above and beyond by cooking an early breakfast for us on the day we had to attend a conference. our experience at this hotel was top-notch and we would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Had a fantastic Christmas getaway at this lovely B&B! the room was cozy with a beautiful view, and the bed was super comfy. the bathroom was clean and had a great shower. the breakfast was delicious, especially the smoked salmon and eggs. the owners were friendly and professional, making us feel right at home. the location was perfect, with shops and a pub nearby. Loved the little touches like the nice soap and body lotion, and the jug of milk in the fridge. a wonderful experience!

Parking was a bit tight, especially for larger cars, but manageable with parking sensors.
