We loved staying at this hotel in the heart of Cartmel. The location was perfect, right in the centre of the village square overlooking all the action. The room we stayed in was a spacious double, converted into a twin, which was ideal for us as youngsters. It was clean, comfortable, and had a great view. The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming, allowing us to check in early so we could freshen up before our lunch reservation at L'Enclume. The breakfast menu had a good selection, and the eggs Benedict I ordered were cooked to perfection. a fantastic stay with great facilities and friendly service.
