Wow, what a gem of a find in York! The location was perfect, with a charming courtyard and wildlife sightings. Platform 1 apartment was immaculate, modern, and luxurious with thoughtful railway-themed touches. The bed was heavenly, and the bath with funky lights added a touch of fun. Just a small hiccup with the hot tap, but we made do with the induction hob. a faultless experience with fantastic hospitality from Neil. Can't wait to return!.

The renovated Victorian mansion apartment was a lovely surprise - modern fixtures, comfy beds, and a gorgeous bathroom. Neil and his crew were super friendly and helpful. the thoughtful touches like a bottle of wine and high-quality toiletries made our stay special. Unfortunately, the kitchen lacked basic essentials like salt and pepper, causing a slight inconvenience, but it didn't spoil our overall fantastic experience. Can't wait to return! 🌟

The building and garden are super cute and despite being pretty close to the road it felt secluded and quiet. the finish in the apartment itself was beautiful, you can tell a lot of care and thought has been put in. the whole apartment was just a lovely place to be- really cosy. Neil was really nice and helpful and clearly cares about his guests. A major highlight was using the private parking and charging up our electric car. the instructions for getting in were easy to follow and the apartment was spotlessly clean. Neil kindly left us a bottle of fizz and coffee pods for the coffee machine. the towels and bed linen were lovely quality. the location is perfect, close enough to the city and far enough to enjoy a garden with plenty of outside space with peace and quiet. Interior was absolutely beautiful, very well designed, bright and spacious. Kitchen very well equipped, hot water tap was fabulous, washing machine and dishwasher great when staying with a baby! Cot and highchair provided as requested. Bath house toiletries smelled out of this world! We had a lovely bottle of prosecco waiting for us on arrival. the furnishings, facilities, decor, and fittings were top quality. Each room had its own ensuite bathroom. In the living area, there was a great kitchen with a lovely large dining table, a huge sofa, and smart TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime. Access was easy with security gates, keypad entry, and key stores for each apartment which worked very well. Communication with the owner was easy and we had regular messages to make sure everything was going to plan. Location was very good, a short ten-minute walk to the City Walls and then into the City center with plenty to see and do. the relaxed facilities like the sun terrace and garden area enhanced our enjoyment and helped us unwind after exploring landmarks nearby, such as the York Cold War Bunker, York Minster, and Clifford's Tower.

Loved the garden views, cozy fireplace, and free parking. the streaming services on the flat-screen TV were a nice touch. They even provided a toaster and a barbecue for my high-class breakfast needs.

I didn't like feeling like I was camping inside the apartment due to lacking kitchen basics.

The culinary scene nearby is epic, with local faves like Silver star and Bistro Du Vin a stone's throw away. the owner, Neil, was a gem, always there to help out. Plus, the lavish furnishings and top-notch facilities made us feel like royalty.

No kettle, just a funky hot tap idea that was lukewarm at best.
