I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in the center of town. The value for money was unbeatable, especially with breakfast included. The room was clean and cozy, with a comfortable bed and a lovely view of the church. The staff were friendly and the service was top-notch. The breakfast had a great atmosphere and I particularly enjoyed the black pudding.

The staff were really helpful and friendly, always ready to assist with any queries or requests. the location was great, right in the heart of town, making it convenient to explore the area. the dinner served at the hotel was delicious and offered good value for money.

there was a difficulty in finding parking space as they were fully booked, but luckily there was a nearby car park available for a small fee. the shared bathrooms were not well-ventilated, leading to a humid and unpleasant atmosphere.

Right in the centre of town, close to where we wanted to visit the Llangollen canal. The staff were welcoming, and the room was spacious and clean. The breakfast had plenty of choices and was very filling. The restaurant food was tasty and good value.

I was working in Wrexham and needed a last-minute place to stay. Couldn't find any local B&Bs, but I stumbled upon Red Lion Coaching Inn just 12 miles away. For only £30, I couldn't resist. The lovely old pub had friendly barmaids, and breakfast was included in the price. They offered a great selection, from cereals to cooked options. Can't complain about my overnight stay!

We were drawn to this traditional pub for its convenient location near the stunning Llangollen canal. The cozy rooms provided a comfortable stay, with modern amenities like smart TVs and wash basins. The staff were friendly and engaging, providing excellent service throughout our stay. The food in the restaurant was delicious and well-presented, with generous portions that left us satisfied. Additionally, the cleanliness of the shared bathroom facilities was impeccable.

Parking was a challenge as there was limited space available.

Stayed at Red Lion many times and each time is as good as the first, a true little gem. Fantastic staff who go out of their way to make you feel welcome. A wonderful property in a beautiful location. Cannot wait for our next visit.

I recently stayed at the Red Lion in Ellesmere for a weekend getaway. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The location was perfect, with shops and restaurants nearby, as well as the stunning Mere and Canal just a short walk away. The bar in the hotel was cozy and inviting, and the food was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend trying the lamb shank, it was melt-in-your-mouth tender. All in all, a fantastic stay in a beautiful location.
