We loved the central location, just off the main pub area in the heart of this charming town. The hotel's cleanliness was impressive, as well as the range of facilities available. Parking was convenient, with options nearby. The hotel's proximity to the Cotswold Way made it an ideal choice for hikers. Our stay in the four-poster room was a highlight, adding a touch of luxury to our experience. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were friendly and helpful.

This hotel was perfect for our visit to the area. Its location allowed us to easily access all that Chipping Campden had to offer, as well as explore the charming towns in Cotswolds. The staff provided excellent service, being friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Despite the basic amenities, our room was clean and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. Additionally, the breakfast served was delicious and served promptly at the appropriate time.

While all was generally okay, the hotel could benefit from some refurbishment and sprucing up, as there were signs of wear and tear in the rooms.

This was my third stay at the Red Lion and it remains a cozy and friendly inn. the location on the charming high street in the Cotswolds is picture-perfect. the inn offers a delicious dinner and breakfast in a lovely restaurant. the room I stayed in, while small with sloping ceilings in the attic, had all the basic facilities I needed, including a comfortable bed, TV, hairdryer. It's a great base for exploring the beautiful Cotswolds region.

We had a delightful 3-day stay at the Red Lion in Chipping Campden. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, going out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The 4 poster room was cozy and warm, with a spacious bathroom featuring a separate bath and shower. The charming pub with its flagstone floors and open fires added to the overall charm. The meals were generous in portion size and delicious. We also enjoyed the exposed beams and modern bathroom in the cottage room. The breakfasts were excellent, and the location was perfect for exploring the area.

We had a fantastic stay at this inn. the location was excellent and the price was right. the staff, aside from one exception, were very pleasant and helpful. the breakfast, which was included in the price, was top-notch. Our room, although not spacious, had a very comfortable bed and was spotlessly clean. We would highly recommend this place to others.

I recently had a delightful weekend stay at this charming pub. The staff were absolutely wonderful - friendly, polite, and always ready to assist. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a large en suite bathroom. I was impressed by the wide selection of beers and wines available, all at reasonable prices. The location of this hotel was perfect, allowing easy access to all that the area has to offer. I must also mention the attention to detail, with thoughtful touches such as ample tea, coffee, biscuits, and even water by the bedside. And let's not forget the breakfast, which was outstanding. All in all, a fantastic experience.

We had a wonderful time exploring the charming village and surrounding areas during our stay. The location was perfect, allowing us to easily access the Cotswold Way for enjoyable walks and even some horse riding. We also took the opportunity to visit nearby villages like Broadway and were fascinated by the Broadway Tower. the nearby steam railway and the vibrant town of Stratford on the river Avon provided plenty of entertainment options. The room we stayed in was cozy and comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and well-maintained. The service provided by the staff was friendly and helpful, ensuring that we felt welcomed during our stay. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast, which offered delicious sausages and bacon. The Olde worlde charm of the place added to the overall experience, reminding us of the unique history of the area.

The lack of internet access in the rooms was a disappointment.

Rooms in the gabled roof may be claustrophobic and require ducking to enter. Noisy due to the older window frames and squeaky wooden floors.

The bar is a delightful spot for a meal, with mouthwatering food and a great selection of drinks. The inn has a charming, rustic vibe with its stone exterior and exposed beams.

The floors have a knack for serenading you with their creaks. Lovely wake-up call, don't you think?
