We had a short stay at Red Lion Inn and it was fantastic. The pub had so much character and served the tastiest locally sourced bacon and sausage in our breakfast. The room had a slopey floor which added to its historic charm. The staff gave us a warm welcome, especially to our dog, with plenty of treats. The rooms were comfortable and the meals were delicious. The location was convenient and we were able to park in the small car park. We would definitely stay here again if we're in the area.

We had a great value for our money at the hotel, with lovely rooms and a comfortable bed. The location was excellent, with easy access to lakes, the Beatrix Potter Art Gallery, and Hill Top. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

The room was a bit cramped, especially for taller people. the stairs were very steep and it was a bit of a hassle to get to the room.

The atmosphere in the pub was fantastic and the locals made us feel right at home. the hard-working staff, especially Ryan, were friendly and provided excellent service. the hotel's location in the heart of the Lakes was ideal for exploring the area.

The bathroom in our room was incredibly small, with a sink that couldn't even fit in it. the shower was cramped and had poor water pressure.

The location was perfect, right in the centre of the charming village. We were able to explore the beautiful surroundings easily. The staff were very friendly and helpful, providing excellent service throughout our stay. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The free English breakfast exceeded our expectations, it was definitely a great start to our day.

There were limited parking spaces available, which made it difficult for us to find a spot.

We had a fantastic stay at the 15th Century Inn in The Lakes. The staff, especially Mandy, were exceptional, working tirelessly even during these challenging times. The food, wine, and beer were all delicious, and the service was prompt and attentive. The room was clean and the amenities were replenished daily. The historic charm of the inn, with its uneven floors and walls, added to the overall experience. The view of Hawkshead at night was truly magical. a wonderful stay.

The hotel could improve on providing a mirror in each room, as the lack of an adjacent mirror made certain tasks, such as shaving, a bit awkward. However, overall, everything was just fine.
