We had a short stay at Red Lion Inn and it was fantastic. The pub had so much character and served the tastiest locally sourced bacon and sausage in our breakfast. The room had a slopey floor which added to its historic charm. The staff gave us a warm welcome, especially to our dog, with plenty of treats. The rooms were comfortable and the meals were delicious. The location was convenient and we were able to park in the small car park. We would definitely stay here again if we're in the area.

I recently stayed at the charming Red Lion Inn for a few days in the lovely Lakeland village. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel warmly welcomed from the moment I arrived. The hotel had a cozy and inviting atmosphere, with its traditional charm as an old coaching inn. The entire place was nice and warm, which was a welcome relief during the winter. As a dog owner, I appreciated how dog-friendly the hotel was, making it easy for me to bring my furry friend along. The beds were wonderfully comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The food, both at breakfast and in the restaurant, was absolutely delicious, and the prices were reasonable. I had a truly enjoyable stay and will definitely be returning.

I had an amazing stay at this charming little pub in the heart of a quaint village. The location couldn't have been better, right in the centre of town. The room was cute and clean, with a spacious layout and a comfortable bed. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, offering great service throughout my stay. The breakfast was delicious, with a good variety of options. Plus, I loved sitting outside and enjoying a glass of wine in the lovely weather. It was the perfect getaway.

There was a small issue with the bathroom that could have been addressed before my arrival.

We had a fantastic stay at the 15th Century Inn in The Lakes. The staff, especially Mandy, were exceptional, working tirelessly even during these challenging times. The food, wine, and beer were all delicious, and the service was prompt and attentive. The room was clean and the amenities were replenished daily. The historic charm of the inn, with its uneven floors and walls, added to the overall experience. The view of Hawkshead at night was truly magical. a wonderful stay.
