The cleanliness of the room could have been better, with visible dust in some areas. the tray with coffee and tea supplies was not fresh cleaned, as we could see marks from used coffee.

Had a great Easter break in the countryside with amazing food and a cozy room. the location was super convenient, being close to the train station. the restaurant offered a fantastic selection of English food and the breakfast was plentiful and delicious. the staff were friendly and helpful, providing us with directions for local buses and tips for exploring the countryside. the room itself was spacious, warm, and had a big comfy bed. Everything was clean and tidy, ensuring a comfortable stay.

From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed and valued by the staff. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and we were given the room we had requested. The accommodation itself was spacious, clean, and of a high quality standard. The bar staff, particularly the lady behind the bar, were friendly and provided excellent service. The breakfast was generous and made with good quality produce. The evening meals were delicious and well-presented, all credit to the chef. we felt at home immediately and highly valued by all the lovely staff.

There were a couple of minor observations we made during our stay. the curtain across the door could have been thicker to create complete darkness in the room, as some light did seep through and woke us up early in the morning.

As bike riders, we loved the easy parking and central location. The staff were helpful, advising on parking and providing a secure spot for our bikes. The rooms were impeccably clean and comfortable. The restaurant served amazing food, both for dinner and breakfast, with a wide variety of options. We also appreciated the quirky charm of the old building.
