The staff were friendly and professional, and the service was first class. The room was comfortable and had a beautiful view of the lake. The food was delicious, with a great choice and quality. Breakfast served until midday was a nice bonus. The location was picturesque, with the lake just a stone's throw away. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone, it exceeded our expectations!

We recently had a fantastic stay at this place! The standard double room was spacious, impeccably clean, and incredibly warm, perfect for our January visit. The bathroom was spotless and well-stocked with toiletries, adding a touch of luxury. What really set this place apart was the exceptional service. The breakfast staff were attentive and always kept our coffee cups full, and the food was excellent. We also took advantage of their daily offers for dinner, which included delicious meals and a bottle of wine. The location, right on the lake, was ideal and the parking lot was generous. We even walked into town easily in just 10 minutes.

The central location was a major plus, making it easy to access nearby amenities. The character and design of the hotel added to its charm. We particularly enjoyed the well-furnished rooms, with comfortable beds and clean bathrooms.

There were a few downsides to our stay. The reception was a bit cool upon arrival, and there were cobwebs and a need for painting on the stairs leading to the rooms.

The location by the lake was perfect. Annex room 43 was quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was just the right size. Friendly staff. Spacious and warm room.

Thank you for a relaxing stay, the staff were amazing. The pack lunches came in really handy and were tasty. The comfortable bed was so amazing that we wish we could have brought it home. The cooked breakfast was highly recommended and the view from our bedroom was beautiful, overlooking Windermere, the hills, and mountains. The location of the hotel was perfect, just a few yards away from the banks of Lake Windermere and the ferry pick-up point. There was also plenty of parking space available.

The service and housekeeping here are impeccable, with efficient service and attention to detail and personal requests. The staff work very hard and have a lovely manner, always greeted with a smile. The room amenities, such as ironing facilities, heating, tea and coffee facilities, and a bathtub, provide enhanced comfort and convenience. The dining restaurant and bar/lounge area offer a wide variety of delicious options for breakfast and evening meals.

This place is highly recommended for families looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay with quality services.

We had such a wonderful stay at this luxurious hotel! The location is absolutely perfect, right in front of the beautiful lake and surrounded by stunning views of the mountains. We loved being able to enjoy a drink at the lovely bar and lounge area, which is conveniently located opposite a charming pub. Plus, being just across the road from Lake Windemere allowed us to easily explore and take in the breathtaking scenery.

The location of the hotel is absolutely stunning, as it is right on the waters edge of Lake Windermere. This provides a beautiful view when sitting outside on their deck area. Additionally, it is conveniently close to the town centre, just a short stroll away, making it easy to access amenities. Moreover, the breakfast at the hotel is of high quality, with a varied menu to suit every taste.

We had a lovely romantic weekend getaway at this hotel. The food was fantastic and there were two complementary offers that we really appreciated. The location was beautiful, with stunning views of the lake and just a short walk into the town center. Our room was cozy and warm, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We particularly enjoyed the peace and quiet.

the radiator in our room made noise throughout the night, which disturbed our sleep. We reported this on checking out, but unfortunately, we were not offered any discount for our disturbed night's sleep.
