The hotel's central location made it easy for me to explore all the shops and bars nearby. The reception staff were exceptionally helpful and welcoming, ensuring that any small issues were swiftly and efficiently resolved. The rooms were beautifully decorated and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The freshly prepared breakfast was delicious, featuring local produce cooked to perfection. I also loved spending time on the hotel's lovely roof terrace, which provided a sun trap for relaxation.

We had a wonderful stay at this family-run hotel for two nights. The reception staff were exceptionally helpful and welcoming. The public areas and bedrooms were clean, freshly decorated, and showed great signs of progress. The spa area was well run and the pool was enjoyable, although a bit shallow at one end. The breakfasts were excellent, with delicious local produce and outstanding scrambled eggs and smoked salmon. The staff gave great advice on local attractions and the best place to buy Forfar bridies. We were thoroughly pleased with our small but comfortable rooms and will definitely return in the future.

The welcome from the friendly staff at Royal Hotel brought back memories of my stay at Noranside. It was a wonderful experience, with a lovely hotel and location. The entire staff was helpful from the minute we walked in, making our stay perfect. We didn't have a chance to use the spa facilities, but we definitely will next time. The upgrade to the Bridal suite was a pleasant surprise, and the staff remained friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast was outstanding and the breakfast team efficient. Royal Hotel is an ideal choice for exploring this beautiful part of Scotland, and we are definitely planning to return. Thanks to all!

I was pleasantly surprised by my stay at this hotel. the staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, ensuring that my needs were met. Secondly, the basic amenities provided were more than satisfactory, and the rooms with their large windows allowed for ample natural light. Additionally, the hotel's central location in the heart of town made it convenient to explore the surrounding area and enjoy the nearby nightlife.

All aspects of my stay were satisfactory.

Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised when the manager upgraded us to the Bridal Suite. The facilities, including the swimming pool and gym, were excellent and we had a relaxing night's sleep in the comfortable bed. The manager even recommended a lovely walk around the loch. The location was fantastic with plenty of places to eat and shop. We will definitely be back soon!
