I had a fantastic stay at the hotel. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making me and my dog feel right at home. The accommodation was comfortable, and the bed was incredibly comfy. The views from the window were breathtaking, providing a peaceful and picturesque setting. The hotel is also dog-friendly, which was a huge plus for me. Additionally, the location was perfect, right on the river, and there were plenty of walking options nearby.

We particularly enjoyed the bar area with Alexa playing classical music and a glass of wine in hand. It was a perfect getaway for relaxation and adventure.

Visited Royal Lodge for a weekend getaway. Our pet-friendly room was clean and comfortable, with easy access outside for our dog. The hot water in the bath was plentiful and invigorating. the walls in the hotel were quite thin, so we could hear noise from other guests in the next room, which was a bit disruptive. the menu in the dining room was a bit limited and some of the dishes were quite overpriced for what you got.
