I had an amazing stay in this hotel! The staff were brilliant - so friendly, helpful, and professional. The hotel itself was very clean and classy, and the views of the surrounding area were absolutely stunning. I particularly loved the conservatory, where I could relax and enjoy drinks while taking in the breathtaking scenery. The breakfast was delicious, and the hotel's location in a beautiful area made it a truly memorable experience.

As avid bike riders, we were thrilled to discover the complimentary use of the spa facilities. The setting, perfect for walking, especially starting at Bolton Abbey. The friendly and intimate atmosphere of the hotel made us feel right at home. The room was well-appointed and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The view from our room was breathtaking. The complementary drinks and bath/shower items added a nice touch. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, and we enjoyed the complementary Sunday morning papers in the conservatory with the stunning view. The staff were wonderful and provided a warm welcome, even giving us the local taxi number which came in handy. We can't wait to come back!

I had the most amazing stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel! The location, nestled in the rolling hills, was absolutely idyllic. I couldn't get enough of the stunning view from my room and the terrace. The staff here were friendly and efficient, making my 40th Anniversary celebration truly perfect. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and well taken care of. The service, room amenities, and cleanliness were top-notch. I also appreciated the little touches like the welcome drink and the tours/ticket assistance. This place truly went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and enjoyment.

Friendly staff at reception, but didn't mention free spa access. Attentive staff made our anniversary special with a champagne breakfast. Food was okay, beds and rooms were great. Beautiful location with stunning views, short walk to village and free parking for Bolton Abby. Excellent evening meal.

Outstanding dining experience

We had the pleasure of dining at the Devonshire Fell and it was truly exceptional. The starters, including the tortellini and salmon, were exquisite and set the tone for an amazing meal. The hake for the main course was cooked to perfection and every bite was a delight. Not only was the food top-notch, but the service provided by the staff was equally impressive. They were friendly, welcoming, and very professional, despite being busy with a large party. We also enjoyed a delicious breakfast the next morning. The hotel itself was clean, spacious, and had a wonderful view of the Yorkshire Dales. The decor was stylish and gave the hotel a boutique feel. The only minor drawbacks were the price of the drinks, which were a bit steep, and a small issue with our bill that was quickly resolved by the hotel staff. our experience at the Devonshire Fell was exceptional, and we can't wait to return. I highly recommend this hotel for its excellent dining and overall ambiance.

Kelly, in particular, was fantastic and made our stay extra special. the location and views from the hotel were stunning, and the beds and rooms were great. staying at this hotel was a delightful experience that exceeded our expectations.

The hotel facilities were great, and the recently redecorated décor was stylish and unique. The cleanliness of the room exceeded our expectations, and it was surprisingly spacious and well-equipped. The hotel staff were friendly and efficient, attending to every little detail and providing excellent communication. The complimentary snacks were a nice touch, and the breakfast was delicious. We also enjoyed the convenience of being able to park at Bolton Abbey with a pass provided by the hotel.

The hotel is situated in a picturesque area, with stunning moorland and river views, perfect for a weekend break. The rooms are comfortable, although some may appear a little tired, and come with bath robes and freshly baked shortbread. The food is delicious, with options like shin of beef for dinner and a buffet breakfast with local produce. The staff are attentive and accommodating, making the stay enjoyable.

Some basic amenities, like shower gel, needed to be requested and there was limited response to special requests, such as room decorations.

The value for money at Devonshire Fell was excellent, with high standard, spotlessly clean rooms. The location exceeded expectations with stunning views. The staff were friendly, attentive, and professional, providing exceptional customer service.

Had a lovely Easter weekend at this hotel! the staff were extremely friendly and attentive, making our 20th Wedding Anniversary extra special with a champagne breakfast outside. Dinner was excellent on both nights, with delicious food served promptly. the location was stunning, providing breathtaking views over the River Wharfe and surrounding area. Free and convenient car parking was available, which made exploring the Yorkshire Dales much easier.

Although we had a wonderful two days, there was a mix-up with the bill initially. However, the issue was promptly and efficiently resolved by the hotel staff.

Best aspects of our New Year’s stay were the gorgeous location and stunning views from the hotel. As avid walkers, we appreciated the many nearby opportunities for hiking and enjoying the outdoors. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating, and we particularly enjoyed the complementary toiletries and the comfortable beds.

The limited dining options and lack of staff availability. On New Year’s Eve, we had trouble getting assistance with our requests, which was frustrating. Additionally, the hotel restaurant had a somewhat limited menu, which was disappointing given the price of our stay. However, overall we had a lovely time and would consider returning.
