Lovely location. As I sipped my morning coffee in the garden, surrounded by the beauty of Whinlatter Forest Park, I felt like I was in a fairytale setting. the peacefulness of the surroundings was truly magical.

Minor issues.

What a gem of a find in a charming village! Our spacious, clean room at this lovely inn was perfect for Luna. The pub had a great atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious food. Small hiccups with towels, toilet paper, and cold water didn't hinder our stay. Will definitely return for the beautiful surroundings and dog-friendly vibe.

I loved the hotel's garden and terrace, free parking was a bonus. the restaurant? A dream come true! I felt like dining in a Michelin-starred place!

We got great value for our money with a newly refurbished room that was absolutely lovely. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the oak furniture added a perfect touch. The location was lovely and the staff were welcoming and friendly throughout our stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Royal Oak in Keswick. The recently refurbished room was absolutely lovely, with comfortable beds, pillows, and bedding. The new oak furniture added a perfect touch to the room. The en suite was impressive, although a few additional hooks for towels would have been handy. we were very happy with our accommodation at Royal Oak.

The room was impeccable and beautifully decorated, offering great comfort during our romantic escape. Having our dogs stay with us was a lovely bonus, and the surrounding area's beauty added to the overall charm.

the noisy industrial extractor fan made it impossible to sleep, forcing us to seek refuge in our van in the carpark.

The room I stayed in had a beautiful view of the hills, which was a pleasant surprise. The bar in the hotel was cozy and had a warm atmosphere, perfect for relaxing in the evenings. The location of the hotel was convenient, as it was close to Keswick. Additionally, there was a coffee shop nearby that served an excellent breakfast.

The value for money at this hotel was great, with beautiful rooms and stunning views. The location was perfect for our hiking plans and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

The pub and staff were nice. The food in the evening was delicious, especially the steak pie. The room my husband and I stayed in was newly refurbished and lovely with comfortable beds and oak furniture. The en suite was impressive, just needed more towel hooks. Good location for a quick hike and lovely surroundings. Car park available. Proximity to Keswick. Bar open until midnight. Beautiful view from room 5. Cosy bar with friendly staff. Coffee shop nearby with excellent breakfast.

Our stay at the Royal Oak in Keswick was fantastic! The room we had was recently renovated and beautifully decorated, with stunning views of the hills from room 5. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Having the convenience of on-site parking and a restaurant/pub made our trip even better. We can't wait to come back to this gem of a hotel!

The only thing that could have improved our stay was the breakfast offering. It would have been great to have more variety in terms of breakfast items.
