We recently stayed at a charming hotel situated in a remote and peaceful location on the banks of a picturesque lake. The hotel had a lovely view of the surrounding area, including pheasants roaming about and sheep grazing in the meadow. The rooms were comfortable and beautiful, with immaculate bathrooms, and the staff provided exceptional service throughout our stay. The breakfasts were very satisfying, and the real log fire and billiard room were remarkable features that kept us entertained.

The turn of the lock for the room was quite challenging to manage at times.

The location of Greshornish House was breathtaking, right by the sea. Although the drive to the hotel was long and single track, the effort was definitely worth it. Our room was immaculate and had lovely views. We enjoyed feeding Joey the pheasant. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The common rooms were stately and cozy. a memorable stay.

greshornish was even better than our previous stay in edinbane! the property was charming and comfy, with hot showers and a lovely whisky selection. the dinner was outstanding, especially the scallops. we wish we could have tried breakfast too! highly recommended, can't wait to go back!

We had an amazing stay at a beautiful and welcoming hotel surrounded by stunning landscapes. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making our experience perfect. The cleanliness of the hotel was outstanding, and the breakfast offered was the best we've had at a hotel. We also enjoyed dining at the restaurant twice because the food was incredibly delicious. The hotel even welcomed our dog and provided seating in the bar area so we could enjoy our meals together. The snug and snooker room was a great addition to our stay after long walks around the area. We are already planning our next visit to Greshornish House.

Lovely old house on a peninsula - takes you back in time. Adventurous road, lots of nature, and plenty of birds. Good equipment, large sitting room with fireplaces and snooker. Brilliant breakfast and a well-equipped teatray.
