my recent stay in tywyn was fantastic and staying at the lodge made it even better. the attention to detail was impeccable, from the well-stocked kitchen to the tasteful sea-themed decor. not to mention the comfortable beds and peaceful atmosphere. definitely worth the money!

Limited space for leisure activities.

I had a really comfortable stay at a lovely lodge. The room was beautifully presented with a mix of modern and period style, and it had all the amenities I needed, including a microwave and fridge. The exclusive use of the bathroom was a bonus too. The location was great, with easy access to pubs and restaurants, and the view from the window was lovely. The check-in process using the key safe was convenient, especially since I arrived late in the evening. I had a relaxing and enjoyable experience at Saint Cadfans Lodge.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel tucked away in a picturesque village. The attention to detail in the decor was impressive, combining modern touches with comfortable furnishings. The location couldn't have been better, with all the necessary amenities within walking distance. I loved that the hotel was right opposite the Magic Lantern cinema, perfect for an evening movie. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that all my basic needs were met. The room I stayed in had a beautiful mountain view, and despite being on the top floor, the noises from outside were minimal. Lastly, the breakfast provided was delicious and satisfying, a great start to the day.

All in all, everything was just fine.

Everything was spot on.

Great location, close to both the mountains and the sea. the village was picturesque and had all the necessary amenities within walking distance. the room was clean, quiet, and comfortable, perfect for a peaceful stay. the shared facilities were well-maintained and since it was low season, we had them all to ourselves. the little signs around the lodge were helpful in ensuring a pleasant stay.

On arrival, some of the windows were open, and it was quite chilly inside, considering it was November. the heating was turned on and with the help of the fire, we were able to warm up quickly.

Comfortable bed, friendly people, close to the coast, helpful staff, well-equipped property, clean accommodation.

The location is convenient, with plenty of restaurants, pubs, shops, a cinema. The top-floor convenience features a loo-roll holder, and the shower room and toilet are close together.

The ensuite bathroom is cramped, with limited space for using the toilet and a noisy saniflo system.

The lodge offered excellent value for money, with plenty of free parking available nearby. the staff were friendly and provided informative brochures about the local area. the location was great, just a short 10-minute walk to a beautiful beach and with plenty of amenities and dining options nearby.

The dining area was quite small for the number of guests, which meant some had to eat in their rooms, despite being requested not to. It would be helpful if the lodge relaxed the rule about eating in rooms when it's crowded.

The location of this lodge is great, just a short walk to the seaside promenade and to many bars and restaurants. Free parking is a huge plus. the room was clean, comfortable and had a TV of the right size. the shared kitchen was well equipped for our breakfast. We also appreciated having a clean and well-functioning bathroom.

The bathroom facilities were not private as advertised, and this was not great for us seniors who need to use the facilities during the night. the shower screen was incorrectly fitted so water flooded the floor.

Comfy room, excellent wifi, plenty of space, spotlessly clean, great bathroom, lovely house and dining room.

Could not be improved in any way.

We had an enjoyable stay at this lodge, with tastefully decorated rooms that were clean and comfortable. The beds provided a good night's sleep, and the kitchen facilities were excellent. The location was convenient, being close to the town centre and shops. Additionally, the lodge was not far from the beach, allowing for easy access to enjoy the seaside.

The weak wifi signal was a disappointment, making it difficult to use the internet effectively.

loved my recent stay in tywyn! this time, saint cadfans lodge exceeded my expectations. train travel and hiking were a breeze, the well-equipped kitchen made cooking easy, and the friendly cleaning staff kept everything clean and tidy. definitely my go-to spot in tywyn now!

Heating didn't work.

I was really pleased with the value for money at Saint Cadfans Lodge. The room was cozy and the bed was really comfortable. The location was perfect, close to the railway station, pubs, restaurants, and the beach. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making our stay even better.

The breakfast selection could have been better.
