The keyless entry was excellent, making it so convenient for us to come and go without worrying about carrying keys. The clean and modern facilities exceeded our expectations. The kitchen and utility rooms were spacious and well appointed, even though we didn't use them. Our top floor room had excellent Wifi coverage, which was a bonus for staying connected. The location was ideal, being very close to town, restaurants, bars, and beaches. We were also near Southsea castle, Palmerston Road, the seashore, and the Common, making it easy to explore this city and the local area. this hotel provided the best aspects of cleanliness, hotel facilities, location for seeing Portsmouth, and transportation, as we were given a parking permit for our car.

Nothing that we didn't like.

We had a nerve-wracking half-hour when our door code didn't work, but the manager, Emma, sorted it out quickly and was super-helpful. The communal kitchen was huge and well-equipped, and the room was clean and comfortable. The location was excellent, close to cafes, shops, and the seashore. I'll recommend this hotel.

I recently stayed at Blue Star House for a weekend getaway and I couldn't be happier with my choice. The keypad access made check-in a breeze and the room and kitchen were clean and bright. I loved the thoughtful touch of having stuff left in the kitchen, it was greatly appreciated. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The owners have really thought about all types of guests, with even a baby high chair in the kitchen. The lounge area was a great place to relax and Charlotte, the contact person, was friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, being very central to everything. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. The room was cozy and we had access to a charming little garden. The bed was incredibly comfortable with soft pillows. The hotel facilities were great, with a washing machine and dryer available for guests to use. The location was excellent, with all amenities within close proximity. It was only a short 5-minute walk to the beach and pier. The hotel was also conveniently located near plenty of shops and cafes, making it easy to enjoy the local area.

During my recent stay, we were pleasantly surprised by the excellent property. The check-in process was hassle-free, with no need to meet the owner. Our single small room exceeded expectations, offering ample storage space, an en-suite toilet and shower, and a small flat-screen TV mounted on the wall. The kitchen downstairs was well-equipped, and the coffee machine was a nice touch. The location was convenient, with a bus stop nearby that took us to the center of town in just 22 minutes. We found a variety of shops and restaurants in the area as well. I would highly recommend this property for its amenities and convenient location.

The hotel was in a great location, only a short walk away from the restaurants and bars, and right by the festival space. the road permit was a real bonus too!

The prices were significantly raised during the festival period, which felt a bit steep for the room we were provided. it would have been helpful to have some hooks on the bathroom door.
