We had a wonderful time at this charming hotel. Our stay at Shenandoah was for one night and we were thoroughly impressed. The location was brilliant, just a minute's walk to the seafront and a 10-minute walk into town. Our room had all the amenities we needed and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, with a made-to-order fry up and a variety of other options. Our host, Jim, was an absolute gentleman, going above and beyond to make our stay perfect. We will definitely be back.

stayed in a family room with a double bed and a bunk bed and an en-suite bathroom. Jim gave us a lot of info about the nearby places. Perfect for our toddler. Will definitely be staying there next time we visit Margate.

The location of the hotel was very convenient as it was quite close to the rail station and just a short walk to the Margate beach along the coast. The room itself was spotlessly clean and nicely furnished, with comfortable beds. The owner, Jim, was extremely friendly and accommodating, even allowing us to check in early and providing us with cold water during a heatwave.

The outside of the house was very untidy as was the back garden.
