Staying at Sherbrooke Castle was quite a delightful experience, highlighted by the warm atmosphere during our Christmas visit. The hotel boasts a stunning interior and the first morning revealed breathtaking snowy views. Though the initial room lacked charm, the helpful staff ensured our move to a more appealing accommodation was seamless, making our stay even more enjoyable.

short drive from the city center and easy to access by public transport. The room was comfortable and had nice decor, but the entrance area can be quite congested due to smokers lingering. Dining was memorable with exceptional food, though breakfast was a letdown for the price.

My initial room faced a busy main road, leading to significant traffic noise that disrupted my sleep. On top of that, the waitstaff was inattentive. I waited an agonizing 35 minutes for my bill after finishing my meal. It's frustrating to encounter such service shortcomings while paying premium prices, which completely overshadowed any positives about my stay.

Parking was tight but manageable. Room spacious.

I enjoyed my stay for a wedding celebration. the service was exceptional and the atmosphere was perfect. it surpassed my past experiences in glasgow, especially the food, which was delicious and beautifully presented. everything about the occasion resonated with me and made it special.

Upon arrival, I was informed that our room was in an outbuilding, which was disappointing since I had hoped to stay in the castle itself. The room lacked character and felt more like a basement than a luxurious retreat. Additionally, the heating in the outbuilding was inadequate, leaving us feeling chillier than we would have liked during our stay.

Charming venue, pleasant ambiance, with a well-prepared buffet breakfast that caters to early risers and helpful staff who offered us luggage storage when we arrived early for check-in, making it easy to explore the city.

Impressive castle, wonderful staff, with spacious rooms that made my stay incredibly comfortable and offered fantastic breakfast options along with convenient free parking for exploring the area easily.

the staff greeted us with such a haughty attitude, making us feel utterly insignificant. the shower was incredibly mediocre, and to top it off, I practically expected a complimentary gesture for enduring that tiny little tv in the room. you’d think I’d at least be offered an upgrade for my inconvenience. my experience was shockingly underwhelming, I almost wrote a glowing review but just couldn’t!

the restaurant bar was great for late-night snacks and drinks, too crowded at times.

the exterior is stunning, with beautiful grounds and impressive features. the decor needs some TLC.

We had an awesome time here with friends! The staff were super friendly, and we enjoyed exploring the nearby Ibrox Stadium and Burrell Collection. The rooms were spacious and nicely done, making our stay feel special. I definitely recommend checking out the meals—they were delicious!

However, we did face some issues with the food not being cooked correctly at one point, which was a bit disappointing.

We enjoyed a cozy stay with big rooms that even had a turret! The staff were super friendly and helped us enjoy a lovely breakfast with eggs just how we liked them. The only issue was that the Wi-Fi was a bit spotty at times, which was a bummer since we wanted to share the amazing castle pics. Overall, a great experience!
